Uttarakhand Medical Services Selection Board (UKMSSB) at Dehradun, have been enacted by the Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly. It fulfills the long standing need of the people to provide the highest level medical facility. In response of their urgent requirement of Faculties and Medical Officers, job fair has been declared a few days ago. These vacant spaces are left to be filled under the areas of Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Blood Bank, Community Medicine etc.
Reservation will be given to the participants of Walk-in Interview as per the Government of Uttarakhand rules. Appointment will be made on Contract basis initially for a period of one year and it likely to be extended. Herein, we had discussed more about UKMSSB Recruitment 2017 elaborately.

Educational Profile: Medical qualification in relevant stream is required for getting consideration for the above mentioned posts. Applying candidates should have acquired this qualification from any recognized institution with registration in concerned medical council of India.
- Academic Qualification for all the posts – MBBS, MD/ MS and DM/ M.Ch
Selection Procedure: Document verification and Interview will be conducted, to recruit suitable persons. While appearing for the interview, participants are not provided with any travel or dearness allowance.
Salary & Allowance: With annual increment of Rs.3600-6000/-, candidates who get into this teaching and non-teaching posts will accept the basic salary. Appointees are also granted with Rent Free accommodation or House Rent Allowance as per Government of Uttarakhand rules.
- Salary for Professor – Rs.143000/-
- Salary for Associate Professor – Rs.123000/-
- Salary for Assistant Professor – Rs.95000/-
- Salary for Lady Medical Officer – Rs.48000/-
Application Fee: The charge fixed for application should be paid in the form of Demand Draft in favor of “Uttarakhand Medical Service Selection Board”, payable at Dehradun. It should be accompanied with the application form.

The format of the application can be downloaded from “www.ukmssb.org”. The downloaded hard copy should be filled in properly and must be brought it on the day of interview. Also, the aspiring one might carry the following documents,
