TNPSC CCSE 4 2017 Exam: Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) is going to conduct a new recruitment for Group-IV posts. As per TNPSC CCSE IV Notification 2017-18, Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service, Judicial Service, Survey & Land Records Subordinate Service and Secretariat departments now requires employees to handle the duties of following posts. Salary Package: Candidates going to be selected through TNPSC CCSE 4 Exam 2017 will get Pay Band-1 salary as per state government order.

Eligibility Criteria to Apply for TNPSC CCSE 4 2017 Exam

Qualification: As per TNPSC CCSE IV Notification 2017, minimum qualification that should be possessed by aspirants to apply for VAO and other jobs are given below.

  • Typist: SSLC/ Equivalent + passed typewriting higher in Tamil and English/ Tamil (higher) and English (lower)/ English (higher) and Tamil (lower)
  • Steno-Typist: SSLC/ Equivalent + passed typewriting and shorthand in Tamil and English (higher)/ Tamil (higher) and English (lower)/ English (higher) and Tamil (lower)
  • Other posts: SSLC/ Equivalent

Age Limit: Depending upon category, the minimum and maximum age limits differ as follows. 1st July 2017 is the cut-off date for computing these age limits.

SC/ ST/ MBC/ DC/ BC/ Destitute Widows who possess higher educational qualification has no upper age limit to apply for TNPSC CCSE IV Recruitment 2017 (except VAO posts).

Age Relaxations: Candidates belonging to following categories will get relaxations in age limit, if they exceed the upper age limits fixed for TNPSC CCSE Group IV Recruitment 2017.

  • PWDs: 10 years
  • Ex-SM: can have 48 years
  • Ex-SM (SC/ ST/ MBC/ DC/ BC): can have 53 years

Selection Criteria for TNPSC CCSE Group-IV Jobs

On 11th February 2018, TNPSC will conduct OMR based written exam for TNPSC CCSE Group IV jobs. Candidates taking more marks in exam will be shortlisted and invited for document verification. After verification of documents, eligible candidates will be called for counselling to allot posts in the order of rank.

  • Open the website tnpsc.gov.in.

  • Do the One Time Registration by paying requisite amount of fee.
  • You will get a Login id and password.
