RRB SSE Exam: The RRB notification for SSE recruitment is all about fulfilling of Group ‘B’ vacancies in Railway. Age Restrictions: Depending upon RRB vacancy you are applying, the minimum and maximum age limits will also differ as follows. There are also cut-off dates for calculating all these age limits.

Selection Methods: The selection methods of RRB jobs will differ based on recruitment you are applying. Anyhow for all the RRB posts, first there will be a written or computer based test (CBT). Individuals securing high marks in this test shall only be called for further rounds of selection like Aptitude/ Typing or certificate verification.
As per Railway Administration standards the medically fit candidates shall only be opted for appointment, on the basis of merit marks in tests.

Salary and Allowances: Appointments for these RRB jobs are going to be done on permanent basis. On selection, training will be imparted to candidates who are placed under RRB ALP/ SSE posts. During training period aspirants shall be offered with Stipends per month.
After completion of training or for RRB NTPC jobs, salary will be given in Pay band-1/ 2 standards as per central government norms. In addition to this, Grade Pay and other allowances like Leave, HRA/ Accommodation, Medical benefits, etc. would also be provided as applicable to positions.

Examination Fee: Only OBC and Unreserved category aspirants have to remit the examination fee for these RRB recruitment. Fee once paid is non-refundable in any cases.
The exam fee for RRB ALP recruitment 2018 should be paid in the form of bank draft or Indian Postal Order which is drawn on favour of concerned RRB’s “Assistant Secretary/ Secretary/ Member Secretary/ Chairman”. Electronic payment at any of the computerized Post Offices is also acceptable.

How to Apply for RRB Recruitment 2018
RRB SSE & NTPC Exams: Enthusiastic aspirants can apply for RRB vacancies in any one zone only. - Click on the “Recruitment” tab on top of the page
- Choose the RRB state name which you wish to apply
- You will be directed to the official site of selected region
- Hit the relevant “Apply Online” link and do the “New Registration”
- On submitting basic particulars, a Registration Number and Password will be generated
- Login using the registration number & password and start filling the application
- Select the mode of payment and do the transaction
- Scanned copies of photo, sign, certificates (if any) should be uploaded
- Before pressing “Final Submit”, preview the details and do changes if any using “Modify” option
- After submission of application, take printout of “Acknowledgement” for records
- Candidates remitting fee through offline have to login again into the concerned site and should enter the payment details that is asked in application
RRB ALP: The application for this RRB ALP recruitment will be accepted only if submitted through offline mode. Don’t submit more than one application in same RRB. The format in which application should be sent for this latest RRB Recruitment 2018 is mentioned in concerned RRB website page or in Employment Newspaper.
On prescribed format, submit a job application that is filled in English/ Hindi on an A4 size paper. Candidates should also have to paste a colour photograph in the space provided and put their left thumb impression, signature (running letters).
By superscribing the top of envelope with Post Name, category, employment notice number and community, sent the completed application and other photocopies of documents like academic records, caste certificate, birth certificate, etc. to the concerned postal address of RRB. Applications can also be submitted in box kept at relevant RRB.
