RJS Syllabus 2017

Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) is the premier commission of the Government of Rajasthan, for organizing recruitment exams, hiring employees and Officers to various departments of the Government. Now, they planned to organize Rajasthan Judicial Service exam. This Written Examination will be likely to be held at Jaipur and Jodhpur.  But in case the number of candidates applying for the post is large, the examination may additionally be held at other places also.

The question papers in both the written exams (prelims & Mains) is designed to test the practical knowledge of the candidates in civil law and procedure e.g. drafting, pleadings, framing issues and writing out judgments etc., in civil cases. And also, to test the language proficiency of candidates applied for the post.

So, before attending the examination, aspirants must gather related knowledge about the examination. It would be possible, when you refer the Rajasthan Judicial Services Syllabus. For your convenience, we place syllabus for preliminary as well as main examination.

Rajasthan Judicial Services Exam Scheme 2017

The pattern of the Rajasthan Judicial Services Exam in respect of first and second phase of the written examination is given here.

Preliminary Examination: Here 70% weightage will be given to the subjects prescribed for law paper-I and 30% weight age shall be given to test proficiency in Hindi and English language. The number of candidates to be admitted in main examination will be 15 times the total number of vacancies in category wise. To get qualify for the main written examination, aspirants have to secure 45% marks in case of general and 40% marks in case of SC/ ST category.

  • Prelims will be conducted as objective type.
  • The maximum marks for preliminary examination shall be 100.
  • The duration of the preliminary exam shall be two hours.
  • And the number of questions asked in the RJS exam is 100.
  • There shall be no negative marking for wrong answer in the preliminary exam.

Main Examination:

  • Main examination will be conducted for a total of 300 marks.
