Odisha Adarsha Vidyalaya Sangathan (OAVS) was legally established in the year 2015 in state for setting up of model Schools with excellent infrastructure, provide quality education to learners, etc. For the Vidyalayas under its control this organization is searching for fresh/ experienced Indian citizens possessing good mental ability and talents, to occupy the currently opened 1090 Principal and Teacher vacancies. Educational Profile: Applying citizens must have studied Odia as a subject upto 10th standard or should have qualified in single subject Odia examination upto High School standard. Other than this, they should have finished their graduation/ post graduation on relevant fields from recognized institution/ university (as given below).

For TGT (Hindi) designation, training qualification of BH Ed/ B.Ed (along with Arts Degree) is also necessary. Aspirants with ‘B’ level certificate of DOEACC are also considered as eligible for Computer Teacher posts.
In the above said qualification, B.Ed qualified aspirants and those who are applying for any of the SI. No. 7 to 12 posts must have done proper registration in concerned State/ District Employment Exchange Offices. In case of SC/ ST/ PH personnel’s, he/ she might have done registration in special employment exchange Offices allotted for them at Bhubaneswar or concerned Revenue District.
Candidates who had done their education outside must submit valid equivalency certificate to the management. In this qualifying examination, minimum expected mark for Principal post is 45% and for others it is 50% (45% for SC/ ST/ PH/ SEBC).
Work Experience: Aspirants willing to enter on Principal posts under OAVS should be a person who is holding similar posts or might have served as Vice- Principal/ Asst. Education Officer/ PGTs/ Lecturer/ TGTs for concerned years in any Central/ State Government/ Autonomous organisations. For other designations, experience is not mandatory.
- Essential experience for Principal posts: 5 to 10 years
Age Restrictions: As indicated in vacancy table, aspirants who are exceeding those upper ages are found unfit to apply for OAVS recruitment 2017. But the minimum applying age will change as 32 years for Principal job and 21 years for others.
Date on which the official recruitment notice has been released is the cut-off date for computing freezed ages i.e. 24th December 2016. Relaxations would be given in these ceiling ages as per Vidyalaya recruitment rules.

Selection Process: Mode of selection for each vacant post listed above will be on sole discretion of management. Mostly, selection will be based on Computer Based Test and Interview after initial screening. Enrollment would be done on seeing the overall performance of candidates in these selection phases.

Salary and Allowances: The monthly salary allotted for each vacant posts under this OAVS recruitment 2017 will differ based on designation candidates are placed. It would be in Pay Band-2/ 3 range or consolidated (for contractual post). Further, other allowances and benefits as admissible from time to time will be given to those designees.
- For Principal posts: Rs.15600 – 39100/-
- For Computer Teacher position: Rs.13900/- (fixed)
- For other Teacher designations: Rs.9300 – 34800/-
- Grade Pay Range (except Computer Teacher post): Rs.4200 – 6600/-

How to Apply for OAVS Recruitment 2017
Applications for this OAVS recruitment 2017 can be submitted by eligible and interested personnel’s, through online mode by following the below given steps. But before beginning to register, keep valid email id, mobile number, scanned copies of photograph & signature, etc. with you.
- Link in which application is available is oavs.in.
- Under “Notification -> Recruitment” section, hit the concerned “Apply Online” link.
- Read the “How to Apply” instructions and mark on the “I Agree” button.
- Then press the “Start” button to complete step-I registration.
- After completion of Step-I, using autogenerated registration id and password re-login to do Step-II registration.
- Enter the personal details and upload scanned copies of images/ documents.
- Check the entered information and then click the “Final Submit” button.
- After 24 hours of submission of application, re-login and click on “Make Online Payment” tab to pay the fee.
- Then take the printout copy of system generated fee receipt and submitted application for future reference.
