NEET UG 2017: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a schedule for doing admission to MBBS/ BDS courses, through National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG). Indian nationals or persons of Indian origin & foreign nationals who are willing to study those courses under All India/ State Government/ Management/ NRI/ Central Pool Quota seats are advised to register for this examination. Also, individuals who had already attempted this examination in the previous years for 3 times (maximum) are not eligible to apply. NEET UG 2017 was going to be conducted in May, so young buddies who are currently preparing for their final 12th standard examination can also try for this admission.

As said above, CBSE is given the responsibility of conducting NEET entrance examination. After declaration of results and fixing All India basis rank based on NEET UG 2017 marks of participants, the list will be given to Directorate General Health Services (DGHS) of Indian Government. Then depending upon marks, admitting authorities will conduct counselling.
On the basis of cut-off of each qualifying candidate, admissions shall be done in Colleges running beneath Medical/ Dental Council of India. It should be rememberable that no intake will be done on AIIMS/ JIPMER Puducherry establishments, since these institutions are set up under Parliament Act. Other details are available down.

Educational Qualification: School level qualification is the minimum eligible academics to apply for this NEET UG exam 2017. Pass certificate (+2) should be received by appliers from any government approved board/ institution only.
- Minimum qualification to join MBBS/ BDS course: Sc pass with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Bio-technology and English subjects
On calculating the percentage of marks for Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology subjects, appliers are expected to have following cut-off.

Age Limits: Minimum age of appliers should have finished 17 years of age while joining in the first year of respective courses. Except SC/ ST/ OBC category, other community candidates are expected to be below or at 25 years. Cut-off date used for computing these ages is 31st December 2017. Relaxations followed are given down.

Admission Process: NEET UG, the entrance exam for MBBS/ BDS courses consists only of single paper. About 180 objective type questions shall be asked, for which aspirants can take a maximum of 3 hours. OMR sheets will be given for marking correct responses. Admissions will be made as per reservation policies followed by board and on the basis of rank in this examination.

Examination Fee: By making use of Credit/ Debit Card/ Net Banking/ UPI facilities or e-wallet of Common Services Centre and other service providers, appliers of NEET UG 2017 are advised to remit the exam fee. In any cases, this fee is non-refundable.

How to Apply for NEET UG 2017
Applications to get considered for NEET UG 2017 examination are encouraged to be submitted through online mode, by following the below given steps. Before that, keep Aadhaar Number, Passport Number (for NRI, OCI & PIOs), necessary certificates, scanned copies of photo & signature, etc. with you.
- Open the website page cbseneet.nic.in.
- Hit the “Apply Online” link.
- Read the instructions and press “Proceed to Apply Online NEET (G), 2017” tab.
- Fill the application with correct details and note down the registration number.
- Upload scanned copies of photograph & signature as per specifications.
- Preview the entered information and “Submit” it.
- Do the payment and take printout copy of Confirmation page, e-Receipt.
It is noteworthy that, the Aadhaar number, name, date of birth and gender mentioned by Indian citizens in registration form will be validated immediately with the UIDAI’s data. Incase of any mismatch, appliers will not be able to proceed for filling the application form of NEET (UG) – 2017. More than one application submitted by a single person will also be rejected.
