The University of Jammu strives for achieving world class excellence in teaching, research, knowledge transfer and socio economic development of the region and the country. This University offers undergraduate, post graduate and Doctoral programs in various disciplines. They had scattered out a vacancy notification over their website, in order to occupy the 51vacancies presently bloomed under various non-teaching posts. First preference will be given to the experienced aspirants.
In order to make the selection process in provisional way, they are enrolling candidates by subject them to tests or interview. Deserving candidates who are chosen for appointment will be placed on probation for one or two years, as per the recommendations of the selection committee. Those candidates will have to submit the original documents or certificates before the date of joining. Necessary Experience: The University is seeking for experienced candidates, to appoint eligible candidates in current vacancies occurred in various non-teaching posts. Applicants should hold at least 0 to 10 years of experience in concerned fields.

Age Restriction: The maximum age of the candidates is restricted between 18 to 40 years for general category and candidates in Government service or contractual employees. The reserved category candidates are applicable for age relaxation, which is given below.

Recruitment Method: If the response of the recruitment advertisement is large, then the organization shortlists the received applications by conducting screening test. After that interview letter/ call letter for written test or interview is issued to the candidates by post.

Applying Procedure for Jammu University Recruitment 2017
The application form can be downloaded from the website or receive the same from the University. After that fill the application form in all respects and addressed to “Assistant Registrar, Estab.(NTW/C&R), First Floor, Administration BIock-II, B.R. Ambedkar Road, University of Jammu,180006”.
The self addressed envelope cover affixed with the postal stamp worth Rs.50/- should be covered with application form and self attested copies of qualification & experience certificates issued by the competent authority.
The application form along with the enclosures should reach the office on or before the last date mentioned, by registered post or speed post. The employees of the organisation desirous of applying shall submit the applications by hand.
