ISRO Result 2017

Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) was set up by the Government of India in 1962. Apart from technological capability, ISRO has also contributed to science and science education in the country. Positions like Assistant (Administrative Support Staff) and Upper Division clerk (UDC) presently meet more than three hundreds of vacancies in various sub units of this organization.

Depending on the adequacy of the post, ISRO decides to conduct written examination and skill test. Half of the recruitment process i.e. upto written examination has been successfully completed. ISRO Exam Notification 2017

Section Wise Marks and Result: It is important to know how the marks are calculated for the exam. For each right answer, 3 marks will be awarded. By calculating the overall marks of all the candidates, final results would be published. The name of the subject, no of questions and maximum marks allotted for each sections is clearly shown in the below tabular column.

ISRO Selection Process fopr UDC, Assistant Posts

Aspirants whose application are shortlisted for the ISRO recruitment, will be allowed for the below said selection phases.

  • Written examination
  • Skill Test

First of all, all the eligible appliers would be invited to attend offline based written examination. It has been conducted both in objective as well as descriptive type for a total of 300 marks.

On merit basis those who acquired high marks in written examination, will receive recruitment call for skill test. Skill test will be differed in post wise, which decides whether he/ she stays in this job or not.

Expected Cut Off Marks: ISRO will releases the official cut-off marks for the Assistant exam conducted on various centers, at the time of declaration of result. Since the result not yet announced, we illustrate the assumed cut off marks here.

How to Check ISRO Result 2017

As per the exam calendar of ISRO Centralized Recruitment Board (ICRB), round one has been coordinated in various centers. When the evaluation team completes their work, it will disclose ISRO Result 2017 as merit list in “www.isro.in” website. So it is very easy to retrieve your result. The only work is to download the merit link and find the concerned link.

And there is no need of any login, because the results are not announced individually. But, you have to remember your Roll Number. The merit list will be published in Roll Number wise. So, you keep this number in mind or else keep the hard copy of the online application form safely. The steps to download the merit list is guided below,

  • Visit the website “www.isro.gov.in”.
  • Go to “Career” page of the website.
  • Click on the concerned “ISRO Result 2017”
  • Immediately, the merit list will be downloaded on the page.
  • Find your Roll Number, view your total marks and access the status whether you get qualified or not.
  • Finally, take the print out of the merit list as proof.
