Indian Airforce Recruitment 2017
Indian Airforce is the fourth largest airforce in world, which is responsible for securing Indian airspace and conducting aerial warfare during conflicts. It is officially founded in 1932 and its headquarters located in New Delhi. It has completed Platinum Jubilee of services to nation. Now it became a well established organization. Indian Airforce is going to start the course for engaging suitable aspirants in Permanent/ Short Service Commissioned Officer posts under Flying division, on coming January 2018. For that, IAF has decided to enroll candidates through “NCC Special Entry Scheme”. Individuals who are willing to be a part of specified course can apply for Indian Air Force Recruitment 2017. To get hired, aspirants will have to overcome different tests and interview.
Selected candidates will be under training for a period of 74 weeks and training involves running, swimming, rope climbing, etc. Accomodations will be given to the aspirants even during training period and therafter.

Educational Requirement: Graduates who have obtained 3 years degree course with minimum of 60% marks from recognized universities and have studied Maths & Physics in 10th, 12th standard are eligible to apply. Candidates from the academic background of Engineering and Technology are also found suitable.

NCC Air Wing Senior Division ‘C’ certificate is mandatory to join in these Commissioned Officer posts. This certificate should be acquired by aspirants on or after 21st May 2015.
Candidates who have obtained 60% of marks in section A & B examination conducted by Associate Membership of Institute Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India are also eligible.
Age Limitations: Applications are invited from the young candidates with minimum age of 20 years and maximum age of 24 years i.e. individuals must have born between 2nd January 1994 and 1st January 1998 to apply for this Indian Airforce recruitment 2017.
Upper age relaxation of 2 years will be given to the candidates who have obtained valid and current commercial pilot licence from DGCA (India).

Recruitment Methods: All applied citizens will be invited to attend the selection rounds at Air Force Selection Boards. The date, time and venue will be intimated in due course.
Contestants will be selected depending upon their performance in stage-1 and stage-2 tests. The stage-1 tests will be conducted to shorlist the candidates. Aspirants qualifying in stage-1 shall only be allowed to attend further tests, after checking original documents. Some of the tests conducted during stage-1 and stage-2 levels are given as follows.
- Stage-1: Officer Intelligence Rating Test, Picture Perception and Discussion Test
- Stage-2: Psychological Test, Group Tests and Interview
Provisionally selected candidates will be finally examined with physical and medical fitness which includes height & weight measurement, visual checkup, etc. Computerized Pilot Selection System (CPSS) will be there for recommended candidates.
.Salary and Allowances: Aspirants will be paid gross monthly package of Rs.82050/- after successful completion of training. Other benefits like Transport allowance, Dearness allowance, Flying allowance, etc. would be given to appointees depending upon the nature of duties and places of posting.
