UTET Syllabus 2017

Uttarakhand Government nominated Uttarakhand Board of School Education (UBSE) as an agency for conducting Uttarakhand TET exam. General category candidates have to take atleast 60% marks, OBC should take 50% marks and SC/ ST/ PWDs should take atleast 40% marks to qualify in UTET exam.

Exam Topics of UTET 2017: UTET exam has two papers. UTET-I/ Paper-I exam will be written by candidates who desires to obtain the eligibility certificate to take classes for 1st to 5th standard and Paper-II/ UTET-II exam will be written by aspirants who wish to receive the eligibility certificate to take classes for 6th to 8th standard. Uttarakhand TET Exam Pattern 2017

  • UTET Exam will be conducted in offline mode
  • Total number of questions that will be asked is 150.
  • Each question carries 1 mark.
  • No penalty is applicable for marking of wrong answer.
  • Maximum time that will be given for UTET exam is 2 ½ hours.

The Language-I & II questions will be Kannada/ English/ Urdu/ Tamil/ Telugu/ Marathi/ Hindi/ Sanskrit. But individuals should not attend Language-I & II in same language.

UTET Exam 2017

Candidates who got UTET-I certificate can seek for Primary Teacher jobs and individuals who got UTET-II certificate can seek for Secondary Teacher jobs in governmental or reputed private Schools of Uttarakhand.
