UPSC CAPF Model Question Paper 2017
This is a great chance for people who wish to begin their career in the armed forces or police departments. Every year this CAPF exam is conducted all over India in two phases i.e. Paper-I and Paper-II. Both these exams will be conducted on the same day in morning and afternoon session. Individuals who are passing in this exam can only participate in other selection process.

UPSC CAPF Question Paper Pattern: There were two papers in CAPF exam in which Paper-I is an objective type test and paper-II is a descriptive type test. A total of 125 objective type questions were asked from general ability and intelligence. The paper-II had descriptive type questions like essay writing, Comprehension, general Studies, etc. This test is especially to check their language skills.

- There are two phases i.e. Paper-I and Paper-II.
- Paper-I is Objective type and paper-II is descriptive type.
- Total marks allotted for Paper-I is 250 and 200 marks for Paper-II.
- Two hours time will be given for answering 125 objective type questions.
- Three hours time shall be provided for finishing the essay type test.
- Negative marks will be detected for every wrong answer.
UPSC CAPF Exam Syllabus: The first paper will contain questions which are familiar to most of the candidates. Candidates who are preparing for the competitive exams will find these questions easier. The questions will be asked from Mental Ability, General Science, Current Events, Indian Polity, History, Geography, etc.
In case of Paper-II, you will be asked to narrate a long essay in English or Hindi. And also, questions will be from Comprehension passage, simple grammar, précis writing, etc. There shall also be questions from Indian History.
UPSC CAPF Exam 2017
This exam is conducted mainly for filling up the designation of Assistant Commandant in CAPF viz. Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB). Candidates who have done bachelor’s Degree in any discipline and aging between 20 to 25 years are eligible to write this exam.
The selection Process will be involved in three stages i.e. Written Exam, Physical and Medical test and Personal Interview. Aspirants who is achieving in all these selection stages only will be considered for selection. As per annual scheduler, the written exam is going to take place on 23rd July 2017 in various centers.
