TNTET 2018 Exam Notification

Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TNTRB) is functioning as a nodal agency for the state government on appointing apt faculties in different educational schools/ institutions. As like every year, this year also TNTET 2018 is going to be conducted by this board on October 2018. There are two categories in TET Exam 2018 Tamilnadu.

  • Paper 1 TNTET 2018: For 1st to 5th Standard Teacher eligibility certificate
  • Paper 2 TNTET Exam 2018: For 6th to 8th Standard Teacher eligibility certificate
  • Paper 1, 2 TN TET 2018 Exam: For 1st to 8th Standard Teacher eligibility certificate

Citizens participated in earlier TNTET exam and are willing to score some more marks than previous can also take part in this upcoming exam. The minimum qualifying marks set by board for TET Exam 2018 is 60% (5% relaxation will be given for BC, BCM, MBC/ DNC, SC, SCA, ST and PWD candidates). Eligibilities to Apply for Next TNTET Exam 2018

In this section we have mentioned about the basic requirements that candidates must have to participate in the next TNTET 2018 Exam. Individuals without these eligibilities no need to apply.

Education: Aspirants seeking for appointment as Secondary Grade Teacher must have finished their Schooling in 10+2 pattern and must have completed their Diploma qualification in Teacher Education/ Elementary Education. For Graduate Teacher posts, a Degree on subjects like Tamil/ English/ Mathematics/ Physics/ Chemistry/ Botany/ Zoology/ History/ Geography or equivalent is essential.

  • TNTET Paper-1: H.Sc + D.T.Ed/ D.El.Ed.
  • TNTET Paper-2: B.A/ B.Sc/ B.Litt./ Equivalent and B.Ed

Individuals who are appearing in their final semester exams can also apply. But he/ she should be able to produce their certificates for verification, regarding completion of course whenever asked.

Age Limit: No age limits have been set for TET Exam 2018 Tamilnadu. So anyone who is below superannuation of age can apply.

TN TET 2018 Exam and Certificate

According to one of the latest news, Tamilnadu TET 2018 exam will be conducted approximately in 66 Educational District Headquarters. Aspirants will be issued with hall tickets for examination atleast 10 to 20 days before TNTET Exam Date 2018, based on the paper he/ she had applied. Exam will be conducted on OMR sheets for a duration of 3 hours.

  • Secondary Grade Teacher – should pass Paper-I of TNTET exam
  • Graduate Teacher – should pass Paper-II of TN TET exam

Paper-I TN TET Exam: About 30 multiple choice objective type questions will be asked from each of the section that is given below. For each correct answer about 1 mark shall be given by correcting authorities.

How to Apply for TNTET 2018 Exam?

Fees: Interested and eligible Diploma/ Degree holders have to submit their applications on time by paying requisite amount of application as well as examination fee as follows.

  • Application Fee: Rs.50/-
  • Exam fee for SC/ ST/ PH personnel: Rs.250/-
  • Exam Fee for other category: Rs.500/-

TNTET Result 2018: Once exam is over, the tentative answer keys will be released by TNTRB by inviting objections from examinees. After analysing the representations submitted by contestants, TNTRB will prepare a final answer key. Based on final answer key only, results will be declared. The results of the TNTET 2018 examination with marks of all the candidates will be released in the website of Teachers Recruitment Board.

TET Exam 2018 Tamilnadu Certificate Verification (CV): All contestants who scores 60% or above marks in exam shall be called for certificate verification. Aspirants have to submit all the requisite certificates in original at the time of verification. Candidates whose certificates are found valid and eligible shall only be issued with the TET qualified certificate.

It is notable that, whenever need arises the recruitment of Teachers as per TET scores shall be done by government. Merely issuing of TET qualified certificate does not guarantee any type of selection immediately.
