TNPSC AAO Hall Ticket 2017: Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC), a state level employee recruiting agency had already released one notice regarding conduct of selection based tests for Assistant Agricultural Officer (AAO) posts in forthcoming month 2nd July 2017. Both male and female citizens are permitted to write this test. TNPSC AAO Hall Ticket 2017

The AAO recruitment based examination is going to be conducted by TNPSC within three months after submission of online job applications by interested ones. Through this hiring process, about 333 citizens will get government employment in Tamil Nadu Agricultural Extension Subordinate Service.

Issuance of hall tickets does not mean that they will be definitely selected by Commission for particular posts. Hall ticket is a document that says he/ she is eligible to attend/ write particular examination. Appliers will get answers for various questions from this hall ticket like,

  • Date and Time of Exam
  • Exam Centre & Code
  • Instructions followed before/ after examination, etc.

For identity, Commission will mention applicant’s registration number, date of birth, photograph, etc. also. The first selection based test is going to be conducted on two different sessions. But Commission will issue only single TNPSC AAO Hall Ticket 2017 to attend both the session exams.

Things to Remember: Apart from admission certificate, other rememberable things are taking photo identity proofs like Vote ID/ Aadhar Card/ Driving Licence, writing materials, maintaining discipline inside exam hall etc.

  • Original photo ID proof and Hall Ticket should be carried.
  • Late comers will not be allowed inside hall (i.e. 30 minutes after start of exam).
  • Blue/ Black ball point pens should be taken inside.

Eligibility Criteria: Hall Tickets shall be provided for AAO examination, by following these eligibility criterias only i.e. individuals who know to read, write and speak Tamil language very well are said as eligible to apply for this AAO post, if possessing Diploma qualification in Agriculture subject after +2. Also the general category persons are supposed to have minimum and maximum age limits between 18 to 30 years.

  • Qualification: Diploma
  • Age Limit: 18 to 30 years
  • Experience: Not needed
  • Other Requirements: Tamil proficiency

Selection Process: If appliers are found eligible as per minimum standards, then TNPSC will give Hall Tickets to attend the Written Examination. Individuals who are securing qualifying marks (i.e. minimum cut-off) in this test shall be further called for Interview. For doing appointment, the overall merit marks in selection rounds will be taken into account.

Exam Pattern and Phases: The AAO exam has two papers of questions. On Diploma standard, Agriculture related questions shall be asked for Paper-I and on Higher Secondary standard the General Studies related questions shall come for Paper-II.

  • Exam will be of objective type and offline
  • Paper-I comprise of 200 questions and Paper-II will have about 100 questions.
  • Time for Paper-I is 3 hours and Paper-II is 2 hours.
  • Paper-I will be conducted for 300 marks and Paper-II will be organized for 200 marks.

How to Download TNPSC AAO Hall Ticket 2017

Commission will issue Hall Tickets only to the eligible ones, amongst appliers of AAO jobs. Keep visiting the website page of TNPSC regularly, after completion date of application submission. Because, Hall Tickets shall be uploaded only through this site and not through postal mode. Atleast two weeks before the examination this will happen.

Individuals who keep valid Application ID shall only get this admission certificate. Appliers who didn’t get this hall ticket after logging into the website before exam are deemed unfit by Commission. The steps to get this entrance certificate are,

  • Open the website page.
  • Go to “Online Services -> Hall Ticket Download”.
  • Search for relevant “Hall Ticket” downloading link.
  • If available, hit on it. Now enter the login credentials like Registration Number/ Date of Birth/ Password.
  • On submitting, your hall ticket will display.
  • Save and download

Exam Venues: The Paper-I/ II of AAO exam is planned to be conducted in 6 different centres. Depending upon the number of applicants, the centres may also increase/ decrease. For participating in this examination, TNPSC will not provide any travel expenses to contestants.
