SSC Syllabus 2017: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an organization working under control of Indian Government. SSC Syllabus 2017 and Marks

Junior Hindi Translator (JHT), Junior Engineer (JE), Stenographer (C & D), Constable, Scientific Assistant, Multi Tasking Staff (MTS), Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL), Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF/ CPO) and Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination (CHSE) are some of the SSC recruitments that will be conducted frequently. Now let us see about these recruitments in short.

Scientific Assistant Recruitment:

For filling the Group ‘B’ Scientific Assistant posts in Indian Meteorological Department, this recruitment is being conducted by SSC. An open competitive Computer based examination will be conducted for hiring suitable aspirants amongst appliers. Two parts of objective type questions (200) will be asked for this exam, for 200 (Part-I & II) marks. Only 2 hours is the maximum allotted time. Based on this exam mark, category-wise Merit list will be prepared by Commission and hand it over to Meteorological department, for appointment.

SSC CGL 2017:

SSC conducts this exam to fill the Assistant, Sub Inspector, Junior Statistical Officer, Assistant Enforcement Officer, Assistant Section Officer, Assistant Audit Officer, Divisional Accountant, Auditor, Accountant/ Junior Accountant, Senior Secretariat Assistant, Compiler and Tax Assistant posts in various government offices. CGL exam is of four tiers. Tier-I exam is for 200 marks, Tier-II exam is for 400/ 600 marks (varies based on posts), Tier-III for 100 marks (descriptive exam) and Tier-IV is the Data Entry/ Computer Proficiency test for some particular posts. Aspirants have to qualify in each tier of exam with good marks to participate in next round of selection. Physical tests will also be conducted for Inspector and Sub-Inspector posts after document verification.

SSC CHSL 2017 Exam

+2 passed candidates with good typing skill will attempt this SSC examination. Through this exam, the Postal/ Sorting Assistant, Data Entry Operator, Lower Division Clerk and Court Clerk posts are going to be filled in government departments. CHSL is a three tier examination. First tier exam will be conducted for 200 marks, second tier for 100 marks (descriptive paper) and the third one is the Data Entry/ Typing test. Candidates who are clearing all these rounds of selection with good marks will be recommended for appointment by Commission. But only the Tier-I and Tier-II marks will be counted together for this purpose.

SSC MTS Recruitment 2017:

To meet the Multi Tasking Staff necessity in various states/ union territories of India, usually this recruitment will be conducted. Written exam will be conducted for filling these non-technical vacancies. There will be two papers. Paper-I will be of objective type (150 marks) and Paper-II will be of descriptive type (50 marks). Aspirants qualifying in Paper-I will be invited for Paper-II. The Paper-II exam marks will not be taken into account for appointment. But aspirants should qualify in that too.

SSC Stenographer 2017 Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Exam:

Inorder to hire suitable aspirants for the Grade ‘C’ and ‘D’ Stenographer posts in various offices of central government, SSC is conducting this examination. 12th pass aspirants who are possessing stenography skill can apply for these jobs. Applying candidates will be subjected to an All India level open competitive written exam for 200 marks. Individuals those who are scoring good marks in this exam would be invited for the Stenography test. On the basis of marks taken by candidates in written exam appointment will be done in respective government cadres, if aspirants qualify the stenography test.

SSC CAPF Recruitment 2017:

To fill the vacant places of Sub-Inspectors (in Delhi Police, BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBPF & SSB) and Assistant Sub-Inspector (in CISF), SSC is conducting this recruitment. Degree qualified male/ female citizens are eligible to participate in this recruitment. First applying candidates will be issued with admit cards to participate in Paper-I Computer based exam for 200 marks. Then those who are taking marks above the minimum cut-offs fixed by Commission would be next invited for the Physical and Medical tests. Finally, again for 200 marks Paper-II Computer based exam will be conducted. Performance of aspirants in Paper-I and Paper-II will be taken into account for appointment.

GD Constable Recruitment 2017:

Through this SSC recruitment, the Constable requirements in Police department will be satisfied. Applications of Senior Secondary pass citizens will be accepted by Commission, for this recruitment. First applied aspirants would be invited for physical and medical tests. Then those who are found fit all aspects shall be next given with admit cards to participate in the Computer based examination, for 100 marks. Commission will prepare a merit list on the basis of exam marks and give it in hands of concerned Police department. Further, Police verification and document verification will be done by concerned departments before appointment.

SSC JHT Exam 2017

This SSC exam is a combined recruitment of candidates for Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator and Hindi Pradhyapak posts that are vacant in Railway Board, Central Hindi Training Institute, etc. JHT exam has two papers. Paper-I is the computer based exam for 200 marks and Paper-II is the descriptive exam for 200 marks. Paper-II exam paper will be evaluated by Commission authorities only if individuals qualify in Paper-I. Finally both the exam marks will be counted together and final merit list will be prepared by Commission.

SSC JE Recruitment 2017

Individuals with academic backgrounds in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying & Contract are deemed eligible to write this SSC JE examination. This exam is being conducted to fill the vacancies in Central Water Commission, Department of Post, Farrakka Barrage, etc. As like JHT, JE exam also has two papers. Paper-I will be conducted for 200 marks in online mode and Paper-II will be organized for 300 marks (descriptive), on separate days. Commission will recommend the names of candidates for appointment, on the basis of marks taken by them in Paper-I & II.
