SSC JE Exam Pattern 2017
Every government job seekers know about SSC very well. Because it is an organization that conducts nationwide exams and hire aspirants from open market for government jobs. Very soon Junior Engineer recruitment is going to be conducted by Staff Selection Commission in various centres across country.

SSC JE Exam Pattern 2017 of Paper 1
Through SSC JE Paper 1 exam the arithmetical computations, problem solving, subject knowledge, social awareness and other analytical skills of candidates will be judged. - The Paper 1 exam of Junior Engineer posts will be conducted for 200 marks.
- Only objective type questions would be asked.
- Exam will be conducted in online mode only i.e. Computer based.
- Maximum time that will be given for Paper-I SSC exam is 120 minutes.
- No compensatory time will be given to VH persons.
- Negative mark of 0.25 is applicable for each wrong answer.
SSC JE Exam Pattern 2017 of Paper 2

- For about 300 marks your subject related descriptive questions will be asked for Paper-II SSC JE Exam.
- Penalties are not applicable for wrong answer, but only if you write well you can score marks.
- As like Paper-I exam, only 120 minutes will be given for SSC JE Paper-II Exam and no compensatory time will be given to VH persons.
SSC JE Cut Off 2017
Competitors will be large in number, so it’s hard to distinguish candidates possessing extraordinary talent. Hence to shortlist number of competitors according to the available number of vacancies, after each exam SSC will fix cut-off. Individuals who are meeting those cut off shall be declared as qualified in exam, but the top mark scorers will be considered for appointment. SSC JE Appointment 2017
The total marks taken by competitors in Paper-I and Paper-II SSC JE Examination will be combined together and candidates ranking top with higher percentage of marks shall be considered for appointment, based on the preference indicated by them in application.
