Staff Selection Commission is a recruiting agency of Indian government. With this power only now Commission is going to conduct CHSL competitive exam. Most probably the online registration for this examination starts on November and ends on December 2017. So exam will be held on January 2018 (approximately).

Tips to Crack in Upcoming SSC CHSL Examination

There will be three rounds of exam. First one is the Tier-I Computer based exam, second one is the Tier-II descriptive paper and third one is the Typing/ Skill Test. Candidates qualifying in Tier-I will be called for Tier-II and individuals qualifying in Tier-II will be called for Tier-III examination.   • Download the correct exam pattern from current or previous official notification.
  • Collect Syllabus, Previous Question Papers, Books, etc. for preparation.
  • Check which all exam topics you know well or don’t know.
  • Prepare a study chart by your own.
  • While studying note down the important hints
  • For 100 questions only 75 minutes will be given. So practice with Mock test and Model Question papers to manage your time, speed and accuracy in exam.
  • Go to Coaching institutes or ask advises from experts and learn shortcuts to answer for each question. This will help aspirants to save their time.
  • Don’t focus on previous cut-offs and think only this much we have to study. Always fix a goal by yourself to take marks above 90%.
  • Eat healthy food and sleep on time.

SSC CHSL Tier-III Preparation Tips

Individuals qualifying in tier-II examination will be invited for the Tier-3 exam on merit basis. Data Entry test will be conducted for Data Entry Operator posts and Typing test for other posts. Candidates should satisfy the following standards to get qualified in Tier-3 exam.

  • Data Entry Test – 8000 key depressions per hour (try to do 2000 key depressions in 15 minutes).
  • Typing Test – try to type 35 words per minute incase of English and 30 words per minute incase of Hindi, without mistakes.

For tier-1, 2 and 3 exams of SSC CHSL, compensatory time will be given to some category disabled persons.
