SSC CGL Syllabus 2017
Every year SSC CGL Exam will be conducted for recruiting deserving candidates below various Group B and C positions in Vigilance Commission, Intelligence Bureau, AFHQ, Railway, Audit & Account and other Ministries. SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2017
The OMR based SSC CGL exam will be conducted in two tiers i.e. Tier-I and Tier-II. Both the examination will comprise of multiple choice objective type questions only. There will be total four parts in both the exams. In the Tier-II exam, the first two parts are meant for all the category posts, 3rd part is for Statistical Investigator Gr.II & Compiler and 4th part is for Assistant audit Officer Post.

- SSC CGL is an OMR based Exam which comprises of objective type questions.
- There will be four options below each question from which candidates have to choose their answer.
- The tier-I exam comprises of 200 questions and each questions carries one mark.
- A negative mark of 25 will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- The examination will be conducted through pen and paper mode and will be held for two hours time.
- These exams will take place in two sessions, morning and afternoon.
- Extra 40 minutes will be given for physically challenged
