SSC CGL Exam Pattern 2017

To qualify in the SSC CGL exam 2017, candidates must have prior knowledge on areas like General Awareness, English Language, Reasoning and Aptitude. SSC CGL Exam Syllabus

Candidates have to qualify in all tiers of exam separately. Only overall cut-offs will be fixed and there is no sectional cut-offs.

For Statistics section, question may be asked from classification of statistical data, measures, correlation, probabilities, sampling, etc. and for General Studies section questions will be related to financial accounting, principles, concepts, theories, role of IT in governance, etc.

The third exam i.e. Tier-III exam questions can be attended by aspirants in English or Hindi language. Essays, Precise writing, Letter writing and Application writing are some of the questions that will come for Tier-III SSC CGL test.

SSC CGL Exam 2017

Commission is organizing this combined exam because employee needs in Audit & Accounts Department, Railways, Intelligence Bureau, Central Secretariat Service, AFHQ, Central Bureau of Narcotics, etc. offices of Indian Government are planned to be filled at a time. For Assistant, Inspectors, Officer and Accountant variety of posts this competition is going to be held. Degree holders and final year student’s applications are only accepted by SSC for this exam, upto mid of June 2017. After this exam, for some of the designations skill test would also be conducted. Then by seeing the overall performance of individuals in these tests, selection would be done.
