SSC CGL Admit Card 2017
The Combined Graduate Level Examination 2017 was going to be conducted for doing appointments in Central Secretariat Service, Vigilance Commission, Intelligence Bureau, Railway, CBDT, etc. On scrutinising applications submitted for this exam, unfitting candidates will be rejected in the initial screening stage itself and they will not be allowed to attend the test. Things to Remember: Reach atleast fifteen minutes before the exam time, in the concerned centre. Candidates should also have to keep original Aadhar Card/ Driving Licence/ Vote ID, etc. with them to prove their identity. Other things should be noted are listed down.

Eligibility Criteria: The requirements will change based on post he/ she had applied. For most of the posts any Degree is enough. But for Compiler job Degree with Economics/ Statistics/ Mathematics as one of the subject is the requisite qualification. Young candidates are only needed for this employment, but the age limits will differ as 27/ 30/ 32 years based on position. Good Computer proficiency is also essential for Assistant posts.

Selection Methods: Tier-I, first phase of Written Examination will be conducted initially for eligible appliers. Then qualifying candidates (who are securing leading marks than cut-off) will be further invited for the Tier-II i.e. second phase of Written Examination. This second test marks will not be taken into account while preparing merit list, but only aspirants who are passing in this phase will be taken into account for appointment.
Computer Proficiency Test would also be conducted for Assistant Section Officer applicants. Before appointment, original certificates should also be produced for verification by provisionally selected candidates. Only after getting intimation about confirmed number of vacancies in each cadre, final select list will be published.

Exam Pattern and Phases: Exam was supposed to be conducted in different days and batches. The written exam will be conducted in two tiers, but purely with objective type multiple choice questions. Both these phases are going to be conducted in Offline mode only. If needed, Commission may also conduct exam as Computer Based Test.
Tier-I syllabus will be common for all posts as General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension. But the Tier-II questions will differ based on position i.e. Quantitative Abilities, English Language & Comprehension and/ or Statistics/ General Studies.
- SSC CGL exam 2017 is an Offline mode OMR based test.
- Full questions would be of objective type only.
- Tier-I exam will be of 200 marks and Tier-II will be of 400/ 600 marks.
- Tier-I exam will be conducted for 2 hours (total). But for Tier-II, each section 2 hours will be given.
- About 0.25 marks will be reduced for each wrong answer.
How to Download SSC CGL Admit Card 2017
As soon as the exam scheduled date reach closer, immediately the Admit Cards will be updated by Commission in its official web portal. Similarly, the SSC CGL Admit Card will also be published atleast two weeks before examination. Appliers can get it by logging into the concerned Regional/ Sub Regional Offices link.
Candidates who didn’t get their e-Admit Card can immediately contact the concerned Office of Commission by mentioning the Registration ID, Transaction ID of SBI, Copy of fee Challan form, etc. Otherwise Commission is not responsible for non-update of Admit Card. It is notable that, in any cases SSC CGL Admit Card 2017 will not be sent by Post. The general steps to be followed for downloading this Admit Card are,
- Open the SSC link ssc.nic.in.
- Choose the “Admit Card” option given at the top of home page.
- Then select the URL of concerned Region.
- From randomly moving links, choose the concerned “e-Admit Card” downloading link.
- On hitting the admit card downloading link, a new page will open by asking Roll Number of applier.
- After entering the number, press “Download call letter” option.

Exam Venues/ Centres: SSC CGL exam 2017 will be conducted in various centres under following Regional/ Sub-Regional Offices.
