SSC Admit Card 2017 for SSC CGL, CHSL, Steno, MTS, JHT, CPO/CAPF, JE, GD & Scientific Assistant

SSC Admit Card 2017: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an authorized agency of Indian Government that conducts direct recruitment or competitive exams for hiring group of suitable aspirants for the government posts that are vacant in various ministries/ departments/ sub-ordinate offices of the country. Recruitment that is going to be conducted by SSC this year is CGL, CHSL, CPO, MTS, JE, Steno, LDC, JHT, etc. After submitting applications for this recruitment, candidates will wait for the SSC Admit Card 2017. The admission certificate for exams will be issued by Commission through its official website to aspirants who are submitting applications correctly. SSC Admit Card 2017

Aspirants who are having valid admission certificate issued by Commission shall only be allowed to participate in the recruitment based exams of SSC. Because admit card is an entrance key to appear in exam. The SSC Admit Card 2017 has the following details,

  • Candidates Name
  • Registration Number
  • Date of Birth
  • Date of Examination
  • Examination shift/ time
  • Venue of Examination with centre code, etc.

Usually, atleast before two weeks of exam admit card will be issued by SSC through its official website. No admission certificates will be sent through post. Some of the SSC recruitments and their admit card downloading details are given below.

SSC CAPF/ CPO Recruitment:

To fill the Sub-Inspector and Assistant Sub-Inspector posts in Delhi Police, CISF and CAPF, etc. SSC conducts this recruitment. First an objective type exam will be conducted for applied candidates. Participants performing well in first phase of exam will be issued with admit card to participate in the Physical and Medical tests. Finally Paper-II examination will be conducted for candidates qualifying in physical tests. For each selection round, Commission will issue separate SSC CPO Admit Card to contestants.

Steno Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Recruitment:

This is an open competitive recruitment that will be conducted by Commission to hire suitable aspirants for the Stenographer posts that are vacant in various government departments of the country. Written examination and skill test will be conducted for selecting most apt candidates amongst appliers for these positions. For each exam/ test, separate SSC Stenographer Admit Card will be issued to participants.

Scientific Assistant Recruitment:

The employee requirements in Indian Meteorological Department will be filled through this SSC recruitment. For 7 to 8 days an open competitive examination would be conducted by Commission for screening the undesirable candidates amongst appliers. Atleast before 15 days the SSC Scientific Assistant Admit Card 2017 will be uploaded in official website of Commission. Using that applied citizens can participate in the recruitment based examination.

CGL Recruitment:

The Assistant Audit Officer, Assistant Accounts Officer, Assistant Section Officer, Assistant, Inspector, Superintendent, Assistant Enforcement Officer, Sub Inspector, Junior Statistical Officer, Auditor, Tax Assistant, Accountant, Senior Secretariat Assistant, Upper Division Clerk and Junior Accountant vacancies in government departments will be filled through this Combined Graduate Level (CGL) recruitment. Computer based examinations (two), descriptive examination and skill test will be conducted for hiring most apt candidates among aspirants who are applying for this recruitment. For each selection round eligible candidates will be issued with separate SSC CGL Admit Card by Commission.

GD-Constable Recruitment:

Either to meet the permanent or temporary Constable requirements in Delhi Police/ CAPFs/ NIA/ SSF, etc. SSC conducts this recruitment. Computer based Written Examination, Physical Standards Test & Physical Efficiency Test and Medical Examination are the selection methods for this post. First applied aspirants would be given with SSC GD Constable Admit Card 2017 to appear in Physical tests. Individuals meeting the standards of physical tests would be shortlisted and invited for written exam, by issuing another SSC GD Admit Card.

CHSL Recruitment:

CHSL is Combined Higher Secondary Level recruitment that will be conducted to hire eligible candidates from open market for the Postal/ Sorting Assistant, Data Entry Operator, Lower Divisional Clerk and Court Clerk works. One Computer based examination, One Descriptive examination and Skill test will be conducted by Commission. Candidates eligible to participate in each selection round would be issued with SSC CHSL Admit Card separately.

JHT Recruitment:

This is a combined recruitment that would be conducted by Commission for the posts of Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator and Hindi Pradhyapak. An open competitive Computer based examination would be held by SSC for choosing the right aspirants amongst appliers. Before two weeks of commencement of exam, SSC JHT Admit Card will be uploaded in official website of Commission.

JE Recruitment:

The Junior Engineer vacancies in Central Water Commission, CPWD, MES, Department of Post, Farrakka Barrage, Central Water Power Research Station and Directorate of Quality Assurance will be filled through this SSC recruitment. Objective and Descriptive type exams would be organized for screening unsuitable aspirants. These exams will be conducted on different days. For each exam separate SSC JE Admit Card 2017 will be issued by Commission.

MTS Recruitment:

Inorder to satisfy the Multi Tasking (Non-Technical) staff requirements in different state/ union territories of India, SSC conducts this recruitment. Objective and Descriptive type of exams would be organized by Commission for selecting apt individuals. First SSC MTS Admit Card 2017 will be issued to all applied citizens and individuals scoring good cut-off marks in objective test will be given with another admit card to participate in descriptive test.

LDC Recruitment:

Usually SSC conducts Grade Limited Departmental Competitive Exams for Lower Division Clerk posts in Central Secretariat, Armed Forces Headquarters, IFS, Central Passport Organization, etc. In limited centres across country this exam will be conducted. There will be two papers (objective and descriptive). Exam will be conducted on morning and afternoon shifts. Details of date, time, etc. will be indicated in the SSC LDC Admit Card that will be issued atleast 14 days before exam, to applied candidates. Finally typewriting test would also be organized before appointment.

How to Download SSC Admit Card 2017?

Applied candidates visit the authorized website of Staff Selection Commission. Click on the regional office link (Eastern/ Kerala Karnataka/ Southern/ North Eastern/ Western/ Madhya Pradesh/ Central/ North Western/ Northern Regions) available in SSC website, which candidates had submitted application for concerned recruitment.

By clicking on the appropriate regional office link, you can find the SSC Admit Card Download link for concerned recruitment. To download SSC Exam Admit Card, candidates have to enter their Registration ID generated at the time of application submission and Date of Birth as entered in online application. The step-by-step instructions to download SSC Admit Card 2017 are given below.

  • Open the website
  • Click the “Admit Card” tab in top of homepage.
  • The Regional/ Sub Regional websites link will open.
  • Hit the concerned Regional SSC URL for which you had submitted application.
  • The concerned regional office website of SSC will open.
  • Search for the admit card/ admission certificate downloading link in Bulletin Board/ Important Links/ Candidate’s Alert, etc. of homepage.
  • Click the e-admission certificate downloading link and proceed.
  • A new page will open by asking login credentials.
  • Enter the Registration Number and Date of Birth.
  • Then press the “Download e-admit card/ Search Status” link.
  • Your SSC Exam Admit Card will display.
  • First save it and then take a printout

Forgotten Registration Number: If you don’t know your registration number, the page will ask you to enter your name, father’s name and date of birth. This help facility is available in some of the Regional websites only.

In some of the websites there will be option to enter your Roll Number/ Candidate’s Name instead of Registration Number.

Non-receipt of SSC Admission Certificate: If any aspirants didn’t get SSC Online Admit Card atleast one week before date of SSC examination means, immediately contact the concerned Regional/ Sub-Regional Office of Commission, by fetching following details.

  • Registration ID
  • Transaction ID of SBI/ Copy of Challan, etc.

The Regional Office address is available in SSC website as well as it will be available in official notifications of concerned recruitment.

Remember: The Physical and Medical Test admit card for GD-Constable recruitment in Delhi Police will be available in the official website of Delhi Police. Candidates have to follow the below given steps to download SSC Constable PE/ MT Admit Card 2017.

  • Visit the website
  • Go to “Recruitment” section and hit Download Constable Admit Card for PE/ MT.
  • A new page will open.
  • Press “Download/ Print Admit Card” option.
  • Select the City, enter your Registration Number and Date of Birth and give “Go”.
  • Your SSC Constable PE/ MT Admit Card 2017 will display.
  • Save and download

Things to be kept at the time of SSC Exam 2017

As per date indicated in SSC Admit Card 2017, go to the concerned venue to attend the recruitment based exam for concerned posts. Along with SSC Online Admit Card, aspirants must hold the following things with them.

  • Take necessary writing materials with you.
  • Carry one photo id proof like PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving License/ Voter’s Card/ Bank Passbook, etc.
  • Three passport size photographs (as uploaded in online application) to affix in Commission’s copy of admission certificate in the presence of invigilator.
