Sikkim TET Syllabus 2017 for Teacher Vacancy

Sikkim TET Syllabus 2017: Sikkim TET examination is announced by the Human Resource Development Department (HRDD) for recruiting eminent staffs under the position of Primary Teacher for classes I-V and Elementary Teacher for classes VI-VIII. This Sikkim Teacher Eligibility Test will be conducted at least twice in a year. In order to meet the requirement of Teachers, they have scheduled this exam presently. Candidates who are holding Degree or Diploma in Elementary Education shall be eligible to participate in the TET examination. Sikkim TET Syllabus 2017

As said above, this recruitment is specially for enrolling teachers on the basis of cut off secured by the candidates in TET examination. Candidates who have else applied earlier shall be subject to written examination. The examination is of objective type.

To prepare for this examination, syllabus is more important. And it is enclosed along with the recruitment notification delivered by the recruiting board. While referring that, candidates feel it’s difficult to prepare. For such candidates, we had designed the Sikkim TET Syllabus 2017 in easy manner with additional information.

Subjects for TET Exam Syllabus: Aspirants will have to clear one paper, but the syllabus will differ for Primary Teacher and Elementary Teacher post. The question paper carries questions in Multiple Choice pattern.

Sikkim TET Examination: We provide syllabus for the upcoming TET examination, which is to be conducted in the month of February. As from the term Teacher Eligibility Test, we came to know that it’s about the recruitment for teachers or faculties. Here the teachers are needed in both Level-I and Level-II i.e. Primary Teacher and Elementary Teacher. Some of the details regarding this examination are listed below,

Sikkim TET Exam Pattern

In TET examination, there will be two types of questions that is, paper-I and paper-II. Paper-I is for Primary Teacher post with an aggregate of 150 marks and paper-II is for Elementary Teacher post with a total of 240 marks.

  • The exam will be of objective type or multiple choice Questions.
  • The total duration of the examination is 2.30 hours.
  • The maximum marks allotted for the examination is 150 marks for Primary Teacher post and 240 marks for Elementary Teacher post.
  • There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.

In Child Development and Pedagogy, candidates shall focus on educational psychology of teaching and learning relevant to the age group of 6 to 11 years.
