Subjects for SBI PO Syllabus: There are totally two papers in SBI PO Recruitment i.e. Prelims and Main Exam. SBI PO Exam Pattern 2017
Initially, a preliminary examination will be conducted for a total mark of 100 through online for a period of one hour. It is an objective type test and comprises of 3 sections.
Qualifying candidates have to appear for Main examination which comprises of objective and descriptive type questions. In this exam, separate time will be allotted for each section.

- SBI PO Preliminary exam is an objective type test which consists of 4 or 5 multiple choices.
- This test will be conducted on computer for duration of 1 hour.
- There will be total of 100 questions and each question carries one mark.
- For every wrong answer, a negative mark of 25 will be detected.
- In main exam, there will be 200 objective type questions and 3 descriptive type
- Total marks given for this test is 250 and will be conducted for 30 hours.
