RRB Syllabus 2018: Indian Railway is the fourth largest railway network in the world. Employees of this network are classified into two types i.e. Gazetted and Non-Gazetted category. The Group ‘A’ & Group ‘B’ staffs comes under Gazetted category and the Group ‘C’ & ‘Group ‘D’ staffs comes under Non-Gazetted category. UPSC conducts the recruitment for Group ‘A’ posts and Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) conducts recruitment for Group ‘B’, Group ‘C’ and Group ‘D’ posts. In India, about 21 RRBs are there. For each zone, concerned RRB will conduct the recruitment depending upon availability of vacancies. Some of the well known RRB recruitments are ALP, SSE, JE and NTPC. For all those recruitment, only exams will be conducted and there will be no interview.

RRB Syllabus 2018

The Assistant Loco Pilot, Non-Technical Popular Category, Junior Engineer and Senior Section Engineer are some of the highly competitive RRB Recruitment that will be conducted every year. Exam is the first selection round for all those recruitment. If a candidate know about the Syllabus for RRB Exams, then their preparations become so easy. The official notification for ALP recruitment is released and the notifications for this year’s NTPC, JE and SSE recruitment are going to be released soon by RRB. All applying candidates will be issued with admit cards to participate in the concerned RRB exams atleast 15 days before exam date.

RRB ALP Notification 2018 (Loco Pilot)

Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician are the two categories of posts that will be filled through RRB ALP Recruitment 2018. The selection rounds of these posts and tentative dates of those events are given below.

From this year onwards, the written exam for ALP and Technician posts will be conducted as two stage CBT exam. The total number of questions that will be asked in 1st stage exam is 75 and 2nd stage exam is 175. To answer all the questions, aspirants should prepare according to the RRB ALP Syllabus that we have given in forthcoming sections.

RRB NTPC Exam Notification 2018

To fill the lower level positions like Commercial Apprentice, Traffic Apprentice, Enquiry-cum-reservation Clerk, Goods Guard, Junior Accounts Assistant-cum-Typist, Senior-Clerk-cum-Typist, Asst. Station Master, Traffic Assistant and Senior Time Keeper in Railway, this recruitment will be conducted by RRB. Various selection stages of this recruitment are given below.

The 1st stage and 2nd stage exams will be conducted on Computer by RRB. About 100 questions will be asked for 1st stage NTPC exam and 120 questions will be asked on 2nd stage NTPC exam. But the duration is 90 minutes, for both the exams. The Junior Engineer and Senior Section Engineer needs in Indian Railway will be satisfied through this RRB recruitment. Almost, exam for both the posts will be conducted on same or nearby dates.
