RBI Grade B Cut Off 2017

The recruitment that is being conducted by RBI for Grade ‘B’ Officer posts has the following selection stages i.e. based on department the selection stage will differ.

  • Grade ‘B’ Officer (General) – Phase-I Online Examination, Phase-II Online Examination and Interview
  • Grade ‘B’ Officer (DEPR, DSIM) – Paper-I Online Examination, Paper-II & III Online/ Written Examination and Interview

RBI Grade ‘B’ Cut-offs will be fixed on sectional and/ or aggregate basis. Before fixing cut-offs, RBI will consider the following things,

  • Available number of vacancies
  • Number of participants
  • Performance of participants in each selection round, etc.

For each selection round RBI will fix separate minimum qualifying cut-offs. Individuals securing that cut-offs shall only be declared as qualified in exam/ interview.

RBI Grade B Phase 1 Cut Off 2017

Grade ‘B’ Officer (DEPR) Phase-II & III Exam:

The Phase-2 (Economics) and Phase-3 (English) exams of Grade ‘B’ Officer posts under DEPR department will be conducted on same day or two separate days. Both are descriptive papers but exam would be conducted in online mode. Time allotted for paper-II is 180 minutes and paper-3 is 90 minutes.

Grade ‘B’ Officer (DSIM) Phase-II & III Exam:

Questions for Phase/ Paper-II exam of Grade ‘B’ Officer posts under DSIM will be asked from Statistics subject and questions for Phase/ Paper-III exam will be drafted from English subject. Both the exam questions will be of descriptive type and each paper carries 100 marks. Paper-II exam will be conducted for 180 minutes and Paper-III for 90 minutes.

RBI Grade ‘B’ Final Cut Off 2017

After Phase-II and/ or Phase-III exam, based on above tabulated cut-offs aspirants will be shortlisted and invited for the interview round of selection. The interview will be conducted for a total of 50 marks. There will be minimum qualifying cut-offs for interview also, which will be fixed by RBI. Anyhow appointment will be done by taking the Phase-II and/ or III and Interview marks together.
