Job Description for RBI Assistant:

Candidates who are selected as RBI Assistant will have to maintain records, feed data into the system, replying emails, etc. The basic salary offered for performing this work will be around Rs.14650/- pm. RBI Assistant Eligibility Criteria 2017

Candidates who aspire to join in RBI Assistant Jobs should meet the following eligibility conditions. When we say about eligibility, two things come to our mind i.e. education and age limit. We are going to see about this briefly in the below section.

Academic Profile: Individuals who have completed Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with atleast 50% marks in aggregate are eligible to apply.

RBI Assistant Recruitment Procedure 2017

Initially, the application submitted through the online shall be validated by the RBI Recruitment team and only the satisfying appliers would be invited for Prelims Exam. Aspirants who are securing good marks in this test are required to appear for Main Examination.

RBI Assistant Examination Pattern 2017

Both the Prelims and Main examination will be conducted through online only. You can also change the language from English to Hindi or vise versa during the examination. You are asked to answer the questions carefully because 0.25 marks will be detected as negative marks for each and every wrong answer.

Prelims Exam:

It is an objective type test which will be conducted through computer. There will be a total of 100 questions and each question shall carry one mark. Totally one hour time will be given for finishing your exam.

  • English Language – 30 Marks
  • Numerical Ability – 35 marks
  • Reasoning – 35 marks

Main Exam:

This exam is also an objective type test which comprise of 40 questions in each section. There are totally 200 questions and each question carries one mark. Two hours duration shall be given for completing your exam.

  • Reasoning – 40 marks
  • English Language – 40 marks
  • Numerical Ability – 40 marks
  • General Awareness – 40 marks
  • Computer Knowledge – 40 marks

Interview: Candidates who are qualifying in the Main exam should appear for personal interview. This will be the qualifying nature for RBI Assistant posts.
