UPSC NDA Result 2017: On April month of 2017, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has conducted a National Defence and Naval Academy Examination (NDA). This test was organised by Commission for admitting/ intaking about 390 candidates into the Army, Navy and Air Force wings. Higher Secondary pass unmarried male aspirants are the permitted persons to attend this exam (those who had done proper registration in response of a notification released on 18th January 2017). UPSC NDA Result 2017
India’s central agency Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is responsible for conducting various Civil Service and other examinations for doing appointments in different government cadres of the country. This exam is one among that, which has been organized for Defence and Naval Academies. OMR sheets are issued for the tests for marking responses. Candidates, who are securing on or above the cut-off set for qualifying in this test, will be invited for final round of SSB selection. UPSC NDA results 2017 will be published with details like exam conducted date, type of exam, post/ department for which test has been conducted, Roll number of appliers, etc.
If written test result has been published then updated notice will contain some general instructions regarding next round of selection. After all selection process is over, finally qualified candidates results would also be published in this Commission’s website, with Roll Number, Date of Birth, Name and percentage of marks. On selection to the concerned cadres (for 139th course under NDA and 101st course under Indian Naval Academy), initially they will be subjected to training and further will be placed to serve on rank of Lieutenant or equivalent.
UPSC NDA Exam Notification: The official notification for National Defence and Naval Academy Examination was released detail on January 2017. In the circular, about 335 vacancies were found open for Defence cadre and about 55 seats for Naval Academy. Interested male candidates are given chances to register their profile upto 10th of February 2017. Applicants who are found eligible have been given with the e-Admit Cards for the initial examination. Through offline mode, candidates are allowed to attend the OMR based objective type UPSC NDA examination.

Subject Wise Marks and Results: Full questions are of objective type only and there are two subjects, which are Mathematics and General Ability. Based on section, the marks will also differ i.e. Mathematics section comprised of 300 marks questions and General Ability section had about 600 marks questions. As this is an OMR based exam, using black ball point pen candidates are allowed to mark responses. For each section, candidates are given a time of 2 ½ hours (maximum).
UPSC NDA Selection Process 2017
On allotted centres, competitive examination will be conducted first for eligible appliers. In the descending order a list will be prepared by concerned authorities of Commission, depending upon written exam marks. Then next level is the two stage selection procedure. In the first day of Service Selection Board (SSB) selection, competitors have to overcome Officer Intelligence Rating and Picture Perception & Description Tests and qualifying aspirants shall be further subjected to Interview, Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests and Conference, on the very next day. In the order of merit-cum-preference basis final select list will be prepared for appointment.

Previous Cut-off Marks: On year-to year, the minimum cut-off marks is also varying. Minimum qualifying marks set in the year 2016 is 288 for written examination, out of 900 marks. But on seeing subject wise marks, for each section candidates should have scored atleast 25% marks. Out of total 1800 marks (900 for written and 900 for SSB), finally recommended candidates are expected to score 656 and above marks.

How to Check UPSC NDA Result 2017
Only through internet site contestants will be able to know the results of UPSC NDA exam 2017. The recruiting organisation will officially announce the results in its website page. Participants can check their own results by keeping Registration/ Roll Number, Date of Birth, etc. with them. Because by indicating these details only, the results will be published. Community of qualified candidates would also be mentioned in some cases. Competitors whose roll numbers are missing in the published result are deemed as unfit for next round of selection or not enrolled under National Defence/ Naval Academy vacancies.
