NDA Admit Card 2018

Union Public Service Commission, government recruiting agency has released this years National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Exam (I) notification for recruiting suitable and willing aspirants in the Army, Navy & Air Force wings of NDA for the 141st course and Indian Naval Academy (INAC) for the 103rd course. As per notification, 22nd April 2018 is the exam date.

The exam date is reaching closer andso Commission has started issuing admit cards from 27th March 2018 onwards to all candidates those who had submitted their applications correctly on time. Admit card is nothing but the hall ticket. It should be noted that, issuing of admit cards doesn’t mean that appliers will get selected immediately.

The admission certificate that you are receiving will comprise of certain important details like exam schedule, applier’s personal information, etc. Candidates who don’t get UPSC NDA Admit Card 2018 are not eligible to take part in exam. The NDA 1 Admit Card 2018 will also pave way to find out cheating contestants, as it may contain photograph, signature etc of appliers. Invigilator will take responsibility of checking this document.

  • Date, session and place of examination will be mentioned in UPSC NDA Admit Card
  • For easier way of finding eligible candidates, applier’s date of birth, photo, etc shall also be indicated

Things to Remember: Individuals appearing for UPSC NDA exam 2018 must keep necessary writing materials of their own. Original as well as photocopy of Aadhar Card/ Driving Licence/ Voter’s ID, etc should also be brought at the time of examination. Other notable conditions are listed here.

UPSC NDA Exam 2018

Eligibility Standards: Appliers of UPSC NDA exam should be an Indian citizen/ Tibetan refugee or a person of Indian origin or a subject of Bhutan/ Nepal. Also, candidates those who are satisfying following eligibilities shall only be issued with admit cards for NDA (I) Exam.

  • Qualification: completed or appearing 12th standard/ Equivalent
  • Age Limit: 16 to 19 years


Selection Criteria: First a competitive written examination will be conducted in different centres, for shortlisting undesirable applicants. Next is the SSB tests and interview. Commission will recommend the names of aspirants who are securing high marks in written examination for SSB tests. Such eligible candidates will get NDA Call Letter 2018 to participate on SSB selection rounds.

It should not be forgettable that, only candidates who are clearing first stage of SSB will be permitted to attend second stage SSB selection.

NDA (I) 2018 Exam Pattern: OMR sheets will be issued to the contestants who are present in the exam hall with valid NDA Admit Card 2018 on exam date. Mathematics and General Ability are the two exam papers.

  • Test shall be conducted in pen and paper mode i.e. OMR based offline exam
  • Objective type multiple choice questions shall only be asked
  • There will be 300 marks questions on Mathematics paper and 600 marks questions on General Ability
  • For each exam subject/ paper, 2 ½ hours time will be given for marking answers
  • Negative marks are applicable for each wrong answer

How to Download UPSC NDA Admit Card 2018?

Admit cards for National Defence/ Naval Academy Examination 2018 (I) will not be sent through Post. As the competitors are large in number, UPSC will issue NDA Exam Admit Card 2018 only through its official website. To avoid last minute rush, it is better to take printout copy of admit Card earlier. But before starting to download e-admit card, appliers are advised to keep Registration ID/ Roll Number and Date of Birth details with them. The general guidelines to download e-admit card are given below.

  • Official website of UPSC www.upsc.gov.in should be opened
  • Click the “e-Admit Card: National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I), 2018” link moving in “What’s New” section
  • A page with link to download UPSC NDA 1 Admit Card 2018 will open
  • Hit the “Click here” link given against National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I), 2018 e-Admit card
  • The e-Admit Card downloading homepage will open
  • Below “To Download e-Admit Card” column you can find the “Click here” link. Hit on it.
  • The important instructions page will open
  • Using “Print” option, take printout copy of the instructions
  • Hit “Yes” tab available at the bottom of the page i.e. below “Have you read & taken printout of Important Instructions”
  • You will be asked to select Registration id/ Roll Number option to download admit card successfully
  • On selecting any of the option, the boxes to fill Registration id/ Roll Number and Date of Birth will display
  • Fill the appropriate boxes and click “Submit” button
  • Your admit card will open. Save and download it.

Due to some technical reasons, the names may also be abbreviated by Commission. Other than that, if there are any errors in admit card, then bring it kindly to the notice of UPSC immediately. Also if candidates didn’t get his e-Admit Card atleast before 1 week of NDA Exam Date 2018, then report it to the Commission’s Office either in Person or over phone.

Forget Registration ID: Aspirants those who had forgotten their Registration ID can follow these simple steps to get back your id.

  • Click “Forget RID” link available on admit card download page
  • Enter your name, father’s name, mother’s name and date of birth as filled in application form on appropriate boxes
  • Confirm the Random image and click “Submit” button
  • Your Registration id will be sent to your registered email id and mobile number

Exam Centres: Applied citizens shall be called for written test in any of the following centres, based on discretion of Commission and on first-apply-first-allot basis. Change of exam centres indicated in admit card, will not be allowed.
