NDA Admit Card 2017: Very soon Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will update one Admit Card in its official web portal regarding conduct of National Defence Academy & Naval Academy Examination for the year 2017. Worldwide unmarried male candidates who are possessing good physique to work under Defence/ Naval cadres and 10+2 qualification certificates are prescribed as the eligible persons for this test. With interest, eligible candidates who had submitted their application for this recruitment exam can download NDA Admit Card 2017 easily without any confusion, by following below given guidelines. The benefits behind this test is, selected individuals will get a chance to serve as an Officer from Lieutenant to Major or equivalent level, on permanent basis in respective cadres.

NDA Admit Card 2017

Union Public Service Commission, a government recruiting agency has released one much awaited notification for recruiting suitable and willing aspirants in the Army, Navy & Air Force wings of NDA for the 137th course and 99th Indian Naval Academy courses (INAC). Registration for this selection is asked to be done through online mode. After immediate scrutinising of applications, Commission will issue Admit Cards for this NDA exam. But it should be noted that, issuing of Admit Cards doesn’t mean that appliers will get immediately selected under this cadre.

The Admission certificate that you are receiving will comprise of certain important details like examination schedule, applier’s personal information, instructions, etc. Candidates who don’t get NDA Admit Card 2017 are not eligible to take part in this test. This card will pave way to find out the cheating contestants also, as it may contain photograph of appliers. Invigilator will take responsibility of checking this entrance certificate.

  • Date, session and place of examination will be mentioned in UPSC NDA Admit Card
  • For easier identifying of Admit Card/ finding eligible candidates, applier’s date of birth, photo, etc. shall also be indicated.
  • General Instructions to be followed may also be given.

Things to Remember: Participants who are appearing for UPSC NDA exam 2017 must fetch black ball point pen with them, to mark responses in OMR sheets. Original as well as photocopy of Aadhar Card/ Driving Licence/ Voter’s ID, etc. should also be brought at the time of examination. Other notable conditions are listed here.

  • Try to avoid late coming for the exam, as those candidates will not be permitted to attend test.
  • Except Admit Card, Identity proof and black pen, don’t take any other electronic devices inside exam hall.
  • Usage of Pencil or any other colour pens will be subjected to rejection of answer sheets.
  • Clip Board/ Hard Board in which nothing is written can also be taken inside exam hall, if needed.
  • Don’t write anything in reverse of answer sheet and also don’t fold it.

UPSC NDA Exam 2017

Eligibility Standards: Applier of this UPSC NDA exam should be an Indian citizen/ Tibetan refugee or a person of Indian origin or a subject of Bhutan/ Nepal. Very young candidates who are possessing minimum 16 years of age and a maximum of 19 years are eligible, but they must have completed or appearing in 12th examination or equivalent from recognised State Education Board or institution.

Selection Criteria: First a competitive examination will be conducted in different centres on offline mode, for shortlisting undesirable applicants. For Interview and Personality Test by Service Selection Board (SSB), Commission will recommend the names of aspirants who are securing high marks in written examination. The SSB procedure has two stages. In the first stage, Officer Intelligence Rating and Picture Perception & Description Tests shall be conducted. Only candidates who are clearing this first stage of SSB will be permitted to attend Stage-II consisting of Interview, Group Testing Officer Tasks, Psychology Tests and Conference.

Exam Pattern and Phases: NDA exam 2017 is planned to be conducted through Offline mode only. For this OMR sheets will be issued to the contestants who are present in the exam hall with valid NDA Admit Card 2017 and original ID proof. Subjects from which questions will be asked are Mathematics and General Ability. For answering each section, competitors can take 2 ½ hours. Maximum marks for which this exam will be conducted is 900. For each wrong answer penalty is applicable.

  • Test shall be conducted in paper mode i.e. OMR based offline exam.
  • Objective type multiple choice questions shall only be asked for 900 marks.
  • Question paper will be set bilingually in Hindi and English.
  • For each section 2 ½ hours will be given for marking answers.
  • Negative marking is applicable for wrong answer.

How to Download NDA Admit Card 2017

Appliers should not expect Admit Cards for National Defence/ Naval Academy Examination 2017, through Post. Because, candidates who are found eligible as per standards set by Commission shall be offered with NDA Admit Card 2017 through internet site only. Before starting to download Admit Card, appliers are advised to keep Registration ID/ Roll Number, Date of Birth or Name/ Father’s Name & Date of Birth details with you. To avoid last minute rush it is better to take printout copy of admit Card as soon as possible, by making use of the general guidelines given below.

  • Official website of UPSC upsc.gov.in should be opened.
  • Check for Admit Card downloading link.
  • If available, click on it. A new page will open.
  • Enter requisite login details to open Admit Card.
  • Save and download it.

If there are any errors in issued admission certificate, then bring it kindly to the notice of UPSC immediately. Also it should be rememberable that, due to some technical reasons, the names may also be abbreviated by Commission. Even if one week before commencement of examination candidates didn’t get his e-Admit Card, then report it to the Commission’s Office either in Person or over phone.

Exam Centres: Male candidates who had applied for UPSC NDA exam 2017 shall be called for written test in any of the following centres, based on discretion of Commission and first-apply-first-allot basis. Change of centres after allotment, will not be permitted.
