IBPS RRB Exam Pattern 2017 for Prelims

Candidates have to qualify in both the subjects of preliminary examination by securing minimum cut off marks. This cut off mark will be fixed as per the adequate number of candidates in each category and depending on the requirements.

Herein, we have tabled the structure of IBPS RRB exam pattern for both the posts. A slight difference is there in between the posts, which is clearly shown in the table.

  • IBPS RRB Prelims is an online examination.
  • All the questions will be in multiple choices type.
  • Questions will be in the medium of either Hindi or English.
  • Totally 80 questions are asked in this exam, for a total of 80 marks.
  • A composite duration of 45 minutes is given to complete the exam.
  • One mark is allotted for each question.
  • There will be penalty for wrong answers (0.25 marks).

IBPS RRB Exam Pattern 2017 for Mains

Candidates have to come prepared to crack in the main examination. Depending upon posts the IBPS RRB Main Exam Pattern 2017 differs, as tabulated below.

  • Contestants have to attend the exam in Computer.
  • No descriptive questions will come.
  • Except language part, the medium of exam will be in Hindi/ English.
  • For each wrong answer 1/4th or 25 marks will be deducted.
  • No marks will be deducted for un marking of answers for questions.

Candidates must have deep knowledge in their professional subjects to score good marks in this section.
