First they were subjected to Biometric verification i.e. right thumb impression and photograph of candidates are verified. Then they are asked to submit their original certificates for verification. Large numbers of candidates are invited for the interview on various shifts. So as soon as the certificate verification is over, the contestants are called one-by-one into the interview room.

For nearly 90% of the individuals, panel members had started asking questions from self introduction i.e. hobbies, strengths, weakness, graduation, etc of candidates. Next banking and current affairs related questions are asked.

The interview process takes place for 5 to 6 minutes for individuals who had satisfied the panel members with their excellent answers. But for some of them it takes upto 10 to 15 minutes.

Tips to crack in IBPS RRB Interview 2017: Banking sector and atleast last 3 weeks current affairs are the major topics from which mostly questions would be asked. So prepare well for interview by gaining proper knowledge on relevant areas.

Reach the venue atleast before 15 minutes of the intimated time. First Biometric verification will be carried out. So wash your hands and dry them before capturing finger prints. Next be ready with your original documents like photo ID proof, etc. (bearing same name as it appears on the online application form/ call letter), for document verification.

When you are invited into the interview hall, ask permission and enter inside. Immediately wish them (Good Morning/ Good Afternoon/ Good Evening). Only when they say you to take your seat, sit in the chair. Don’t get panic and sit comfortably. Keep an eye contact with interviewers and answer for the questions which they ask.

Don’t close your mouth and sit simply for any question. Say the answer in understandable format or if you don’t know, reply “Sorry Mam/ Sir, I don’t know the answer”. When they say “You may Leave”, get up and leave the room politely by saying “Thank You”. Interviewers will judge your personality, respecting mentality, behaviour, banking knowledge, communication skills etc, and put marks.
