Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is a self governed organization which conducts recruitment for hiring eligible staffs for serving below various nationalized or rural banks. IBPS Clerk Exam Notification 2017

IBPS released the advertisement for Clerk exam on September 2017. Vacancies are about 7883 in number. Admit cards are first issued for the preliminary exam, to all applied graduates. IBPS Clerk Main Exam Section Wise Marks and Results: Aspirants who appeared for the IBPS Clerk main exam said that the question paper was really tough.   • Full of objective type questions are asked.
  • For each correct answer for questions from Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude about 20 marks will be given. But for other sections, each question carries 1 mark.
  • Penalty of 25 marks per question is applicable for marking of wrong answer.

IBPS Clerk Selection Process 2017

In order to scrutinize and shortlist large number of candidates appearing for the main exam, a preliminary exam was conducted by IBPS in the month of December 2017. On regards of this, few candidates were filtered and were asked to appear for the Main exam on 21st January 2018.

For about 200 marks, the main exam has been conducted. But for provisional allotment, the marks taken by aspirants in main exam will be normalized to 100.

Aspirants who secure the minimum cut-off fixed by IBPS in main exam will be given provisional allotments among the 19 nationalized banks, depending upon availability of vacancies and merit basis. However, only after the original certificate verification, the final decision for selection would be done.
