CTET Result 2017: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) headquartered in New Delhi is a board of education for public and private Schools under Union Government of India. All Kendriya Vidyalayas, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, private Schools and most of the Central government approved Schools are affiliated under this. The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Indian Government has given a power to this board for conducting Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET). Regarding this, on 18th September 2016 CBSE had conducted one CTET examination. Now the CTET Result 2017 have been announced by the board. So we have presented this article to give details to the participants about how to see result.

CTET Result 2017

TET marks are nowadays considered as one of the eligible qualification for getting Teacher jobs in governmental and other reputed educational institutions. To improve the skill/ performance of students in Schools, quality teachers will be appointed by the institution on the basis of TET marks. Similarly for getting Teacher jobs in CBSE affiliated Schools, the CTET SEP 2016 marks will be taken into account. As per National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) guidelines, this exam would be conducted.

Citizens with Diploma/ Degree qualification in Education or Elementary Education or those who are doing final year of relevant course shall only be allowed to write this examination. For a last year conducted CTET examination (2016) now the results are published. Vast number of male and female aspirants had written this examination, on two different sessions i.e. Paper-I CTET examination has been conducted for persons willing to become a Teacher for 1st to 5th standard and Paper-II CTET has been conducted for persons willing to become a Teacher for 6 to 8th standard.

  • The published CTET Result 2017 is just for immediate information.
  • Original certificates will be issued to CTET qualified citizens, later by board.
  • Candidates applying for Teacher posting in any educational institutions with this CTET score shall get additional weightage.
  • The CTET score is valid for 7 years.

Exam Notice: By releasing this exam notice, board has said interested candidates to submit applications from 22nd Jun 2016 to 18th July 2017 by paying requisite examination fee. Applied candidates are issued with admit cards to participate in test from 17th August 2016 onwards. On one Sunday, this CTET test was executed offline.

Section Wise Marks: Full of multiple choice questions are asked on test. Contestants are given 2 ½ hours time to write this test. Within this duration he/ she should attend 150 objective type questions, each carrying 1 mark. The disabled persons are given extra time of 50 minutes to write this exam.

CTET Exam Process 2017

In India and Abroad, the CTET exam 2016 was successfully implemented. Approximately 94 centres have been allotted for this. The Paper-II was conducted in the morning session and the Paper-I was organized in afternoon. This is just one of the eligibility criteria andso board will not guarantee that CTET qualified candidates will be immediately appointed to any Schools.

Cut-offs: Individuals scoring minimum 60% marks in CTET exam will be declared as passed. This minimum qualifying cut-off is common to all categories.

How to Check CTET Results 2017

The results for CTET exam 2016 have been published now in internet site. Exam attended candidates can see it in the CTET website under CBSE, to get immediate information. Using the roll number given for citizens to participate in test, the results can be seen. Here we have given the step-by-step procedure to see results.

  • Open the page ctet.nic.in.
  • Hit “Result of CTET-SEP 2016”.
  • Enter your Roll Number and press “Submit” button.
  • Your CTET Result will be displayed.
  • Save and download

Board will sent the eligibility certificate to passed candidates through Speed Post and the marks statements through Ordinary Post.
