TNEA 2017: Anna University has planned to conduct the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) 2017 process for filling up the counseling seats in government and self government engineering colleges. On the 2nd week of May 2017, the TN Board will release the 12th examination results. Most of the students will have Engineering as the first option after HSC exam. Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) is an engineering admission process conducted by Anna University every year for filling the BE/ B.Tech seats. This admission process will be conducted after the completion of TN Board Exams. The TNEA counseling process will be done mainly by means of marks obtained by the candidates in 12th examination or any equivalent. Moreover, they should have studied Maths, Physics and Chemistry as one of the subjects in HSC.
Candidates who have done vocational course are also eligible to apply for TNEA counseling process 2017. Aspirants who are holding more than 80% marks will rank top in the ranking list. So, they can choose their favorite college at the very beginning of counseling before the seat gets filled.

Academic Profile: Aspirants who are willing to apply for TNEA 2017 engineering admission should have appeared for higher secondary examination on the month of March 2017.

Counseling Fee: Candidates who are appearing for the counseling process have to deposit the specified fee amount in the form of cash or demand draft.

Aspirants who have paid this amount during the counseling need not pay it again while paying the academic fee.
Admission in Respective College: After your turn of counseling process is over, you can reach the particular college to seek for Admission in engineering course. You have to produce the letter which was provided during the TNEA counseling process to the concerned authority in that institute. Candidates who found to be satisfying will be offered seat in their college for persuading Engineering course.
