Panjab University Result 2017

Panjab University is one among the oldest and top ranking university which is located at Chandigarh, India. It offers courses in Arts, Management, Fine Arts, Education, Language, Medicine, etc. Recently, the 1st to 5th semester exam for B.Sc, BTTM and M.Sc Degrees was held on the end of last year. So, the long time waited the Panjab University Result 2017 has been let out through university website today.

Three hours duration was given for completing this exam. The result will be published in the form of PDF file, which contains your Roll number, name and total marks. Students who pass in these exams can be free from backlogs. Individuals who have got arrears should get the revaluation form from your department staff and give it along with the fee on or before the last date.

Panjab University 1st to 5th Sem Exam Notification: The B.Sc, BTTM & M.Sc semester exam notification was released on the last week of November 2016 over the Panjab University Site. The hall tickets were issued from the 1st week of December 2016 through their respective departments. This is an offline based exam were students will be given plain paper for writing their answers.

Panjab University Examination Methodology 2017

Month of December is meant for conducting semester examination in almost all the institute. Likewise, the management planned to conduct the 1st to 5th semester exam for students who are currently pursuing in the B.Sc course in tourism and management and M.Sc in Statics course.

The schedule for this exam was displayed on the notice board as well as in the Panjab University website on November 2016.  Hall tickets were issued by their respective staffs in that department. This examination was held till the end of December 2017. This exam was conducted on offline mode for duration of 3 hours.

Hardly after three months, the university managed to release the exam result over their official portal on the 2nd week of April. Candidates who got arrears in the current semester are asked to apply for revaluation. If not, you have to appear for arrear exam on the month of May/ June 2017.

  • Written Examination

Total Marks & Pass Mark: This time, many students have cleared in these semesters comparing to the last time. The minimum pass marks fixed for each subject is 40%. Individuals who are scoring below this mark are required to write that particular paper again.

  • Minimum Pass mark – 40%
  • Total Marks for B.Sc 5th Sem – 700
  • Total Marks for BTTM 2nd & B.Sc 4th Sem – 550
  • Total Marks for BTTM 3rd Sem – 600
  • Total Marks for BTTM 1st Sem – 500
  • Total Marks for M.Sc 1st & 3rd Sem – 400

How to View Panjab University Result 2017

Students who have appeared for the semester exam which was held on the month of December 2016 are requested to check their 1st to 5th Semester result from now onwards. You can use your Roll number for checking your marks. The Panjab University Result 2017 page will contain a PDF file with details regarding the total marks. Your current marks and previous semester marks will be totalled and merit list shall be given.

If you have passed in each and every subject, then the total marks will be mentioned near your name. Or else, the marks will not be given. The step wise instruction for checking your results have been mentioned in the below section.
