NEET Admit Card 2017: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is going to conduct one National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG – 2017 for doing admissions in Indian Medical/ Dental Colleges that are running with approval of Medical/ Dental Council of India. 12th pass candidates who are seeking for easier admission for MBBS/ BDS courses are asked to write this examination. CBSE will just conduct this exam, declares result and prepares an All India basis rank list. Admission process will be further carried out by the Directorate General Health Services, Indian Government only. But to come under rank list first aspirants must attend the exam, which will happen only after issuance of admission certificates. NEET Admit Card 2017

Three weeks before start of NEET exam, CBSE will issue admit cards to eligible applicants. The NEET Admit Card 2017 will contain certain necessary information like,

  • Candidate’s Name & Father’s Name
  • Roll Number
  • Category & Sub-Category
  • Photograph
  • Signature
  • Date of Birth
  • Language of Question paper and
  • Examination Schedule (date, time and centre/ place)

It should be rememberable that, till completion of these MBBS/ BDS admission process aspirants must keep safe of this admit card.

NEET exam marks will not be considered for getting admissions in institutions established through Parliament Act (i.e. AIIMS and JIPMER Puducherry).

Things to Remember: Invigilators is responsible for checking admit cards of all candidates inside examination hall. So individuals without or failing to take admission certificates with them will not be allowed to write the exam in any cases. Sometimes the photo in admit card will not be clear, so to prove your identity keep one government issued proof with you (Aadhar Card/ Driving Licence/ Vote ID, etc.) that matches with the personal details given in NEET Admit Card 2017.

Along with admit card one proforma attachment shall also be given to each candidate, by CBSE. In that proforma, as per specifications candidates have to affix one post card size photograph before entering examination hall. In the admission certificate and attendance sheet also aspirants have to paste passport size photographs.

  • Any one original ID proof should be taken along with Admit Card.
  • Before 9.30 AM candidates should enter the hall.
  • Mobile phones, books or any electronic gadgets usage is strictly prohibited.
  • Don’t draw or write anything (i.e. hints, etc.) in the admission certificate.

NEET Exam 2017

Eligibility Criteria: Candidates who had finished their School level qualification in 10+2 pattern will be permitted to write this exam. Also only aspirants who had chosen Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Biotechnology group in 11th & 12th are seemed to be eligible. If the age of applying citizen is below 17 years then they will not be issued with admit cards for this exam. Also the upper age of aspirants should not exceed 30 years incase of SC/ ST/ OBCs and 25 years incase of others.

  • Age Limit: 17 to 25 years

Selection Process: As said above first NEET examination will be executed. Then CBSE will give the All India Rank list (on the basis of this exam marks) to Directorate General Health Services. This particular authority will then conducts Counselling for 15% All India quota seats. These results would also be distributed to state/ other Counselling authorities too. Original certificates of candidates who are called for counselling will be verified and depending upon seat availabilities in respective Colleges, admission will be done.

Exam Pattern and Phase: As the minimum prescribed qualification is 12th, questions will also be in a standard of 11th and 12th class. From the Physics, Chemistry and Biology (i.e. Botany & Zoology) subjects, questions would be drafted for this test.

  • About 180 questions would be asked for this exam.
  • Maximum time that will be given for test is 3 hours.

How to Download NEET Admit Card 2017

All applying citizens will issued NEET admit card 2017 through exam conducting organisation’s official website, which is specially designed for NEET exam. Candidates should keep a registration number and password with them, which they got or used at the time of online registration. The steps to get admission certificate through internet site are,

  • Open the link cbseneet.nic.in.
  • Click on the relevant admit card downloading link.
  • Enter your Registration Number, Password and give “Login”.
  • Your NEET Admit Card 2017 will display along with details of format for affixing post card size photograph in it.
  • Cross check the personal details given in admission certificate.
  • Save and download

As soon as applied candidates have downloaded their admission certificates, a copy of the same will be sent to applicant’s email address (given in application) on pdf format. This will also help to know whether some other cheating contestants are using your admission certificate or not.

Exam Venues: The states or union territories in which this exam is planned to be conducted are tabulated down. In centres under these places only NEET test will be conducted. Based on exam venue chosen by candidates in application, mostly centres will be allotted by board. Or else, CBSE will take its own decision in centre allotment.
