KEA PGCET 2017
Karnataka Examinations Authority is formerly known as CET cell i.e. Common Entrance Test cell. State government has given powers to this authority for conducting some of the competitive exams like NATA, NEET, CET, PGET, DCET, etc. As this is the admission time, now KEA has planned to organize PGCET 2017. Candidates applying for full time courses with valid GATE score would be given preference and may get scholarships also. Only within the state, this Karnataka PGCET will be conducted. Merit list for each course of admission will be prepared separately. Incase of tie marks, the age seniority will be taken into consideration. Depending upon KEA PGCET 2017 merit list, ranking would be done in two ways i.e. GATE persons and non-GATE qualified persons. Then ranked candidates would be called for document verification. Admission will be done based on choices said by aspirants in admission application and by following government reservation policy. Some of the participating organizations are VTU, UBDTCE, UVCE, Mysore University, etc.

In all the years of concerned degrees, appliers must have secured minimum 50% marks. For SC/ ST and Category-I persons, 45% marks is enough.
Experience Details: Candidates who are willing to do their studies in part time basis should have gained experience from any recognized establishment that is situated atleast 40 km from institution which aspirants are seeking for admission.

Exam Process: The entrance exam PGCET will be conducted on offline mode. This is a 2 hours examination that is planned to be conducted for 100 marks. The topics from which questions would be asked for KEA PGCET are tabulated below. No negative marks will be given for marking of wrong answers.

How to Apply for KEA PGCET 2017
Apply via online for this KEA PGCET 2017. Before beginning to apply, keep necessary documents, valid email address and scanned copies of candidates passport size photograph, signature, left thumb impression & Parent’s signature with you. Then follow these simple steps.
- Open the link kea.kar.nic.in.
- Choose the link “PGCET-2017 Online Application”.
- Do the New User Registration
- By submitting the basic details, you will get an Application Number and User ID.
- Login using the id and enter the student information.
- Using “Save and Next” button, save the details you have entered.
- Then upload your scanned copies of images and save again.
- Read and select the declaration and press “Submit” button.
- Then take the printout copy of bank challan for fee payment.
- Hardcopy of submitted application can be taken for reference.
