COMEDK UGET 2017: As the 12th examination has over, in all Colleges the admission process is going ahead. Candidates those who are seeking for B.E./ B.Tech admissions in Karnataka state are advised to read this notice once. The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) is organising one Under Graduate Entrance Test (UGET) to enroll students for the Engineering and Architectural courses, for the academic year 2017-18. In India this exam will be conducted in multiple cities by seeing the total number of applicants list. For determining merit/ knowledge of admission seeking candidates, this COMEDK UGET 2017 exam has been planned. No lateral entry admission will be done through this selection. COMEDK UGET 2017
Karnataka Professional Colleges Foundation has formed Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK). This is a procedure to test merit of candidates who are seeking for admissions in member institutions. More than 150 unaided and private Engineering Colleges have proposed their willingness to make admissions to UG courses in their administration, based on merit marks of aspirants in COMEDK UGET-2017. The online Test Admission Ticket (TAT) will be issued only to aspirants who are found eligible as per details mentioned in application.
After this single common entrance test, the score cards will be given to participants before May month. Using this, candidates can participate in the seat selection process (i.e. counselling) for admission, depending upon vacancies available in participating universities (list given in official notice). The approximate number of seats that are available in these 150 colleges is 20000.
Admissions under COMEDK UGET 2017

Educational Requirements: From any recognised board candidates desiring to apply against Engineering courses must have studied Higher Secondary with Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Electronics as one of the subjects with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks.
Those who are having interest to join in Architecture courses must have studied Maths as one of the subject in their HSC or equivalent. The academic percentage that should be secured by B.Arch course applying candidates is 50% (minimum). Also aspirants must have qualified the National Aptitude Test in Architecture atleast with a minimum mark of 80.
- UG Engineering courses: PUC or 12th or equivalent
- UG Architecture courses: PUC or 12th or Matric with Diploma or equivalent and valid NATA score.
Another notable point is, 5% mark relaxation will be given to the SC/ ST/ OBC candidates of Karnataka state.
Admission Process: Individuals seeking for B.E admission will have to write the entrance examination with questions drafted from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects. For 180 marks this test will be organized.
Rank Cards will be issued only to aspirants who are found eligible to get admission in these UG courses as per AICTE/ VTU regulations.
Those who are ranking high in this entrance test can appeal for admissions in participating universities, using score card. Counselling will be done for applying citizens and the original certificates would also be verified.
There will be no entrance examination for applicants of B.Arch courses. Instead candidates who are submitting applications will be called for counseling.

Application Fee: Individuals who are applying for this entrance exam should have to pay the application fee through online payment gateway. Net Banking/ Credit/ Debit Card facilities can be used for doing this payment.

How to Apply for COMEDK UGET 2017
Those who are seeking for UG admissions under COMEDK Colleges are advised to submit online applications for UGET entrance examination by following the guidelines given below.
- Visit the website page comedk.org.
- Read the advertisement of UGET examination and hit “Login COMEDK UGET Application” at homepage.
- Click the E-Login/ Register
- Hit “Click here for registration” and fill the basic particulars in registration form.
- By submitting those details, an id and password will be sent to your mobile number/ email address.
- Using that login and start filling the application form.
- Scanned copies of passport size photo, candidate’s & father’s signature and id proof should be uploaded as per specifications.
- Preview and hit “Submit” button.
- Then press the online payment gateway link and do the transaction.
- Verify the status of your payment by re-logging into the application form, after fee payment.
- Printout copies of submitted application and fee receipt should be taken for reference, atlast.
