- For Private Secretary/ Assistant jobs: any Degree
- For Stenographer posts: Matriculation/ 12th pass/ Degree with Shorthand & Typing skill
- For Clerk positions: 10th/ 12th pass with Typing skill
Necessary Experience: Applying persons must hold any analogous posts in the working organization. Or citizens who have worked on concerned salary scale for particular number of years (as given below) are also eligible to apply.
- For Stenographer Grade ‘D’ job: 5 years
- For Lower Division Clerk: Years not given
- For other jobs: 8 years
Age Limit: The upper age limit to apply for deputation basis DRT jobs should not be above 56 years in any cases, while computing as on last date of application submission.
Selection Criteria: Interview is the only mode of selection going to be conducted for the vacant posts under this DRT recruitment 2017. No objection certificate and other requisite original credentials would also be verified on the same date.
Pay Scale and Salary: DRT has decided to give Pay Band-2 salary for Private Secretary/ Assistant posts and Pay Band-1 salary scale for other vacant designations. During this engagement, other admissible allowances and benefits would also be provided.
- For Private Secretary/ Assistant jobs: Rs.9300 – 34800/-
- For No. 3 to 5 posts: Rs.5200 – 20200/-
- Grade Pay Range: Rs.1900 – 4600/-

In the released notification, the blank proforma to apply for DRT recruitment 2017 is also given. Aspiring Officers can take printout copy and fill it.
Completed applications should be signed from the concerned Head Office of employees and forwarded properly on time to “Registrar, DRT, 2nd Floor, Bhikhubhai Chambers, near Kocharab Ashram, Ashram Road, Ahmedabad – 380 006”.
