Central University of Kashmir is a state owned university which offers various post graduate courses in Business Administration, Journalism, Economics, Education, English & Literature, IT, etc. This university is headquartered at Ganderbal, Jammu and Kashmir. Educational Profile: Individuals who have completed Master’s degree or Medicine or Graduate degree or higher secondary pass with minimum 50 to 55 % marks in aggregate from a recognized university or board are suitable to apply for the above posts.
- For Sl.No. 1 & 2 – Master’s Degree with atleast 55% marks
- For Medical Officer – MBBS degree or MD in Medicine

Work Experience: In addition to the above qualification, aspirants should hold minimum experience in teaching, research, medical field works, typing, drafting, etc to apply for these jobs.

The retirement age for all the non-teaching post except Sl.No. 1 & 2 is freezed to 60 years. For the post of Finance Officer & Exam Controller, the retirement age shall be 62 years.
Selection Process: The selection will take place through written/ skill test or trade test or personal interview. Initially the applications submitted by the applicants will be validated by the selection committee by means of qualification and experience.
Satisfying candidates will be invited separately for various selection processes. Depending upon the overall performance, the appointment would be finalized.

Travel or lodging allowance will not be paid for candidates called for interview. However, SC/ ST aspirants will be paid 2nd rail or bus fare for the shortest route.
Salary & Pay Scale: The selected candidates will be recruited on contract or deputation basis only. Individuals who are appointed on contractual positions will be engaged in the positions for a period of 5 years. During the service, the appointee will be given salary according to pay scale only.
