CAG Recruitment 2017: From the Office of Comptroller & Auditor General of India (CAG) recently a recruitment notification has been scattered out widely. The circular says a message that more than hundred vacancies are there for Auditor and Clerk positions in one of the government department working beneath it. This job offer is asked to be utilized only by meritorious sportspersons of the country. Woman candidates can also apply, but they should be aware that these jobs come under All India service liability. CAG Recruitment 2017
Office of Comptroller & Auditor General of India functions under the control of Indian Government. It is headquartered in New Delhi. To fill some of the Group ‘C’ posts in the nodal offices of Indian Audit & Accounts Department (IA & AD), now CAG has decided to hire some human resources through Sports Quota. Regarding this, now organization is inviting applications from candidates who had participated and done achievements in Cricket, Football, Hockey, Badminton and Table Tennis types of sports/ games, in university or state or country level. To check the health and skills of appliers, CAG will organize tests for applying citizens. Then individuals performing well shall be hired on gender/ reservation basis to the respective posts given under CAG recruitment 2017. To get regularization in these services, designees have to successfully overcome the probation period and departmental examinations.

Necessary Education: Degree holders are eligible to apply for the Auditor/ Accountant category posts and individuals who had completed Schooling from recognized institution/ board can apply for the Clerk designations.

Age Constraints: Candidates might have attained 18 years of age to respond for this CAG Recruitment 2017. Upper age of aspirants should not be more than 27 years, except for government employees and SC/ ST/ OBC persons. Because for those excepted candidates relaxations are applicable as per government orders. The concession details are listed down.

Selection Process: The selection committee constituted by CAG for hiring suitable persons under above listed posts will analyse the applications submitted by interested citizens. Then individuals who are satisfying the minimum eligibility norms prescribed for these vacant posts shall be called for Field Trials.
While coming for Field Trials, first management will conduct Fitness Test. Then Skill Test would also be conducted, depending upon posts. Finally by seeing their performance in tests and sports achievements, select list will be prepared.

Salary and Allowances: On selection, first two years is the probation period. CAG will ask appointees to clear some exams during this period i.e. Typing Test for Clerk post and Departmental Confirmatory Test for Auditor category posts. Individuals failing to do so, will be terminated from service immediately without giving any permission.
Individuals hired for Clerk posts will get Level-2 salary and Auditor/ Accountant posts shall get Level-5 salary, as per government orders. Other applicable allowances would also be given from time to time, depending upon posts.

How to Apply for CAG Recruitment 2017
Willing aspirants go and download the blank application form from Comptroller & Auditor General of India website www.cag.gov.in first, from Recruitment section. Then fill the mandatory fields in application and paste one recent passport size photograph in it.
Do not leave any field blank in application and sign atlast. Then send it to concerned Nodal Office along with following photocopies of requisite documents. The address for forwarding application is given in official notification.
