BARC Admit Card 2018
Bhabha Atomic Research Center (BARC) is India’s premier nuclear research facility center headquartered in Trombay, Mumbai, Maharashtra. BARC Notification 2018
BARC has let out a recruitment notification in order to admit suitable candidates for OCES and DGFS courses. The important details furnished in the official notification are given below.
Course Name: As per the BARC official notification, it is now admitting students in the following courses via in taking them through selection test or interview. Where, OCES carry 9 Engineering disciplines and DGFS include 5 Science Courses.
- One year orientation course for Engineering Graduates and Science Post Graduates (OCES-2018)
- Two year DAE fellowship scheme for Engineering Graduates and Physics Post Graduates (DGFS-2018)
Eligibility Criteria: Indian citizens who are possessing the below mentioned eligibility criteria will be considered for OCES/ DGFS-2018.
- Academic Qualification – B.E/ B.Tech/ B.Sc
- Age Limit – 18 to 26 years
Selection Process: The selection process will be carried out in two stages i.e. screening followed by interview. In initial screening, all the eligible applicants are subject to online test. In this screening stage, marks obtained in online test as well as GATE score will be calculated.
After that, selection interview will be conducted for those who succeeded in the online test. This interview will be conducted in Mumbai and Hyderabad. However, final selection for OCES/ DGFS-2018 will be made solely on performance of the candidates in interview & entitled them to appear in medical test.
A list of provisionally selected candidate’s names will be displayed in the website as well as in their registered e-mail ID or mobile number. These selected candidates will be intimated to take part in the admission process for M.E/ M.Tech in Chemical Engineering subject under the scheme of OCES/ DGFS.
