Airline Allied Services Limited (AASL) is a government aided undertaking which is involved in providing services such as Air Transport Service, managing airplane purchase, Sale transaction, etc in Indian Airlines. It is also a sub ordinate company of Air India Limited (AIL) and it is situated in New Delhi. In order to carry out their mission successfully, AASL requires few energetic and committed candidates for serving under various units located all over India. Those who have beforehand experience in aviation are preferable for this post.

Academic Profile: Aspirants who have done full time Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) training course from a DGCA approved institute or Diploma in AME are more preferable for this position.
- For Technical Assistant – Diploma in AME/ 3 years training course in AME
Required Experience: Individuals who possess hand on aviation experience in CAMO/ QC/ PPC Office are eligible to apply for AASL job.
- Minimum Experience – 1 year
Age Limit & Relaxation: AASL has fixed the maximum age of the applicant to 30 years. This age will be computed as on 1st January 2017. Howbeit, age relaxation can be granted for aspirants belonging to reserved category as per government orders.
- Age Limit for OBC – 33 years
- Age Limit for SC/ST – 35 years
Recruitment Method: After verifying the documents, applicants who satisfy the above eligibility criteria would be invited for Technical Knowledge Test. Candidates who qualify in this test have to appear for skill test.
Finally, the contestants have to take part in Group Discussion followed by personal interview. Depending upon the overall marks obtained by the candidates, a provisional merit list will be prepared. However, the final selection will be done only after Pre-Employment medical checkup.

Candidates belonging to the SC/ ST category will be paid to and fro 2nd class rail or bus fare for the shortest route to appear for selection process.
Emoluments Offered: Selected candidates have to execute a service agreement for serving in the company for atleast 2 years. However, the period can be extended upto 5 years by means of requirements and performance. During this period, the appointees will be paid a fixed consolidated pay as per AASL norms.
- Salary during 1st year – Rs.18000/- pm
- Salary after 2 years – Rs.21000/- pm
- Salary after 4 years – Rs.25000/- pm
Along with this pay, the designees are liable to get Provident Fund, Gratuity, etc in accordance to company rules.
